Elite 20” BMX Bicycle Destro Model Freestyle Bike (BK Gold)

We bought this bike for our 13 yr old son to go to and from school. Within the first two weeks he said something didn’t feel right. We thought it was just because it was new he had to use it a bit, but the grinding kept getting worse. We ended up having to take it in to the bike shop and had the bearings replaced. We got billed $43.48 and my son unnecessarily had to walk to school three days. I don’t believe we should have to worry about fixing a new bike.
