Works well, but the fan is LOUD
Decent unit. It's great that it will run on 12V or 24V. It does use 5x the power of my other inverters at no load, but the efficiency under load is fine. It is LOUD however. Like you won't want it in the passenger compartment level of loud.

Doesn't work with 48W load
I have a small refrigerator that draws about 350W when it starts up and 48W continuous when running. I tried powering it with this inverter. There was no warning light, no beeping, just an ominous non-functioning - no power delivered. God knows which components were getting fried. Inductive loads like refrigerators are hard to drive, but this unit should at least give some clear feedback that it couldn't handle them.I also tried driving a 300W digital power supply and it failed. It's not an 800W unit at all.
