Power Rack

This thing is the center of my home gym. It has saved me quite a few times since I got it. It has held up quite well thus far as well.

I have had mine for years, and I am very satisfied with this rack. The chin-up bar is a solid bar, same diameter as my Olympic bar, and knurled similarly. I place the Olympic bar on top and use the two for parallel grip chins; they end up nearly identical height. I have dropped fairly heavy weight (300+) onto the safety bars repeatedly and they are still straight, although the chrome painted on them began peeling after repeated pounding (I bounce bars sometimes). They are definitely a high grade of steel. Not quite tall enough to do standing presses inside (I am 5'10") but easy to do full chins without touching floor with slight abdominal flex. I have had to move/ set this up at three different locations, and the lock nuts still stay tight, which I am very thankful for. I can slide it alone if no weight is on it; if you need a rack that weighs a lot (immovable) you may need to look elsewhere. It stays in place on my rubber stable mats.
