Works as described
I bought this previously many years ago. It’s slightly different and it fits just ok. I make musubi quite frequently and though this worked I like my original one better.

Makes life easier.
This form makes life so much better. I used to go through a 100% hand rolling process. This form allows the user to make two perfectly shaped masubi rolls at a time. Along with a Spam slicer, I can now get the rolls into the plates of my kids faster and with a lot less mess. Go for it if spam masubi is a staple in your home.

well build, works well
I have about 4 of these now. I'm thinking they last forever. One piece of advice that will make it work easier is to spray the inside liberally with Pam. I actually spray it about every 6-7 presses and they pop right out and reduce the rice build up. I normally cut them in half before I wrap with saran wrap, spray the knife blade before cutting and it will be a nice clean cut.We lived in Hawaii for 12yrs where musubi is very popular. Mine are normally made with Spam. Kids love these things.Instructions-place on seaweed wrapper, one layer of rice-roughly 1" in bottom of mold-press it down a little so surface is flattened-add two slices of spam-I fry mine to slight brown on each side and give them a shot of soy sauce while cooking-then add another layer of rice on top of spam-press down to flatten and pull the mold up and off while pressing down. Wrap with saran wrap-keep about 4-5 days. best when fresh.

Easy Musubi Mold
I ordered this so I could teach my grandson how to make musubi with his own mold. I've had one for years and it works very well and is easy to use.

Love making Spam musubis
Perfect for college students who lives in the dorm that they are only allowed to have a rice cooker! My two daughters have one including me and it’s faster making one long one instead of two short ones so it cuts my time in half when I am making spam musubis!

Photos depicting 2, it’s only 1!!!
I thought this came with two (a big one and a smaller one) cause I didn’t read the description(and that’s my bad) had I known it was only one I would’ve bought another one exactly like this for a cheaper price.

Tips
This 2 in 1 is da best. Perfectly fits on one sheet of Nori (seaweed). To reduce the rice from sticking, I get a large pitcher of warm water with some table salt. Dip the mold in the salt water after each press. I also have a moist warm paper towel to wipe the knife after each slice I make. I know some people slide the knife through a lemon instead of the paper towel. When making musubi's for parties, I cut em in quarters and use parchment or wax paper between layers. Growing up in Hawaii, this is the perfect beach or hiking snack.
