Not sure if this stuff is really effective. Time will tell, but all speaker surrounds seem to age and deteriorate differently.

It is what it is. takes a few coats, Best is when dry, it's not tacky or sticky.

Product arrived with inner seal not sealed. The glue had mostly dried out, only a small amount of liquid remaining in the bottom of the bottle when I attempted to extract the giant white booger. Smells like and cleans up like Elmer’s glue. Bummed that it seems like such a rip off when I’m trying to protect my subwoofer investment.

I ordered this along with a speaker refoam kit but in the end I decided not to use it, so I can't say if it's good or bad, I gave it 3 stars not to disparage it or unfairly rate it. After doing online research I read opinions from several experts who claimed that this type of product affects the flexibility of the foam and that it may slightly affect woofer performance, the opinions were also divided as to how much longer a treated foam would actually last when compared with untreated ones, so I decided not to use the product as I wanted to keep as much of the original woofer performance as possible.
