Awesome!
Love Love Love it! Makes my dress fit so much better. As you can see in the picture I haven't sewn on the straps yet, I was fitting them in this picture. I wouldn't recommend this pattern for a novice seamstress though, definitely moderate to advanced pattern. I would recommend, reinforcing the boning at the top and bottom of each, just because I found that the muslin was too flimsy to keep it in place. The grommets weren't a hit either, I used button holes instead although the paint stick as a busk worked great.

Best historical reinterpreted patterns for the Regency Era
Laughing Moon patterns are easy to follow. They work on different body types with her well thought out measuring system. There are online support groups on Facebook to help with questions and challenges. Great company.

Dressing up for the 1800s
I dress up in period clothing and they don't fit right if you wear modern under garments. You need the period under garments to make the dresses and skirts fit right.

I was so surprised when the pattern included a short stays option! Lots of good information and detail!

Measure your size before you cut
Laughing moon patterns can produce an authentic looking historical garment, but require anticipation of next steps. They are not like department store off the rack sizes. The advantage is that there are several experienced seamstresses that have documented making the garments on Youtube. My outfit is in process
