I bought this over 2 yrs ago and am just now running out so came back to buy this exact one again. First off, this is a single ingredient butter, and just like shea & cocoa butter it is SOLID at room temperature. Reading the reviews i think that for some reason wasnt clear to people before they purchased it. You CAN use it on its own, but in the winter time you can expect it to be pretty difficult to soften until its heated.I have MCAS which comes with a million intolerances & finding skincare products that work for my skin is extremely difficult. Over the time ive had this jar, ive used it to make lip balms, in leave in conditioner recipes & other hair products, and it works amazingly in my diy deodorant recipe. Its texture is a bit waxier than shea or cocoa, and it absorbs into the skin without leaving a greasy residue if you use the right amount.Right now my absolute favorite use for it is on my cuticles. With it being summer its been warm enough to keep some in a little travel size cosmetic jar & i use it as i would a cuticle balm or salve. Its not greasy so it doesnt accidentally wipe off immediately after like cuticle oils can. It works so well ill definitely be trying to figure out what i can mix it with to make it more temperature stable once it starts cooling down again (its the perfect texture at like 75 degrees). Its also non-comedogenic & fixes any dry patches on my face overnight.Overall I really recommend if youre willing to take the 2 seconds required to understand what it is ur purchasing before purchasing it. Body butter is an entirely different thing & formulation with other ingredients added.

This product wasn’t easy to spread it felt gritty on my skin. I was very disappointed with this product. Just a waste of my money. 👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾

This was purchased for my DIY skin and hair care products. Great purchase for me because I have allergies and skin sensitivity to lots of products. Do a skin allergy test before use. It is not scented with perfume but has a natural smell to it. The color is a light cream color with a light texture when in your hand. It does absorb into the skin & hair nicely. It’s not too thick like Shea butter. The quality is good in my opinion because I do use it for my DIY projects. I’ve had it for a while and it’s great for me. It’s great by itself or when added to other DIY projects. I liked the size of the jar for the price. I will definitely purchase again.

The cream is very hard and does not great to be applied easily.

Worked very well. Yes, it does have little sand light beads in it but if you rub it between your hands, they disappear works well.

There is nothing to like: hardly any scent—doesn’t resemble body butter; can’t spread it easily—it clumps

Excellent value very concentrated , can be diluted and used for many purposes if mixed with shea butter or oil .However most importantly if you've got a chronic scar that cannot be healed by a plastic surgeon and it bothers you all the time for the rest of your life then this butter is the thickest butter there is and gives instant relief in a way that scar products cannot do. I've tried every silicone tape and Scar cream and none of them relieves the pulling pain sensation or really can moisturize a bad scar and they cost a huge amount of money for very little relief. The thickness is very thick very moisturizing
