Pleasantly surprised
So I installed this on a 2014 ford flex because after replacing a front end after a wreck I didn't notice the AC high pressure rubber section of line was touching the serpentine belt which wore a groove into the rubber line. After replacing the front end along with a new ac condenser I pulled vacuum on the system and it was holding fine. Went to charge the system and after adding about 12oz of r134 the ac compressor kicked on and the high side built pressure and busted the line. I tried to mcgyver it and cut out the bad section, bought 2 ft of reinforced rubber hosing, 3/8” barbed union fittings and doubled up on hose clamps.... It held vac and so I charged the system with 36oz of r134. No leaks...ac worked great....... For about 48hrs lol. I could see the dyed oil I added to the system leaked from my mcgyvered fittings. I really didn't want to replace the whole line because it was a big job after already rebuilding this car from a wreck.... And the line was expensive. I stumbled across various repair kits but didn't think they would hold. Then I seen this one and liked that it had the stock style hose crimps securing the hose and used compression fittings and the price was decent so gave it a shot. I cut the damaged rubber section from the aluminum tubing using a small pipe cutter. Polished the ends with the included 400 grit emery cloth. Cleaned the ends with alcohol then gave the alum tube ends and all fittings a light lube of AC system oil. The ferrule fit pretty loose on my high pressure sides aluminum tubing (I bought the 3/8” hose kit) so this had me concerned it wouldn't seal. The instructions say to not tighten it until the nut bottoms out but I was going off feel and didn't want it to leak so probably tightened them too tight as I was probably half a turn away from bottoming the nut out but again the ferrule was loose on the tubing and so I wanted to make sure the compression fitting formed a good seal. Buttoned the job up and the hose looks and feels high quality. Can't even tell its been repaired. It held vac so I added a little more oil to the system and charged with 36oz of r134. Fully charged in a super hot day the high side pressure hit 250psi. Ice cold air for over a week now. No signs of leaking! Sofar I am impressed and this patch hose went on easier than the mcgyver method I first tried and cost about the same. Just take care when installing.... I'll update if it ever leaks. Sofar its 5 stars for me!

quality in service
The hoses were good quatlity and worked great. One hose was missing a compression fitting and the seller sent me out a replacement hose. Both hoses fit great in my application. The shippment was quick and was well packaged.

50/50 chance
The 5/8 line worked perfectly the 3/8 on the other hand bottomed out before it finished crimping the ferrule and left me with a leak larger than the section I cut out. For how much these cost and the end result I'd definitely buy the correct replacement line next time before I'd waste my time and money on these again. I don't even have enough original line to try another one.

Easier and cheaper than buying new line
Was skeptical that these would work (or that I even located the correct leak point). But took longer to free the lines than it did to splice this in. Awesome product.
