Paramount Automotive 17192 Black Flat-Style Flare, 4 Piece

I absolutely love the look of these flares. I have only seen them on one other TJ in my area. So it gives it a bit of a unique look. They’re not too hard to install. The hardest part is removing the rear inner fenders and putting them back in.Now the bad. Cheap hardware with Philip head screws made of apparently cheap metal. I noticed rust on them after just 2 months and now almost 7 months later they are completely rusted out. They look awful. I just ordered stainless steel bolts to replace them, since they are coming off for some paint.Due yourself a favor and get some M5x25mm bolts and washers.

Overall, the product is a good design for the price, however, the bolts and washers are already rusting after I installed this just less than 3 months ago. I hardly drive my Jeep and it's always parked in a garage. So now, I'm going to have to go find some better hardware to replace it because the rest of the Jeep is immaculate and I can't have this bad purchase make part of the Jeep rusty.

I purchased these to replace existing fender flares that had warped out and were rubbing the tires on turns. The PVC is sturdy, and they stick out far enough to cover my 33" tires. I also really like the LED side marker lights to make the vehicle more visible at night. The only down side is that the hardware supplied is EXACTLY what is needed for mounting, so don't loose any bolts or washers! (I did and spent 5 minutes finding the bolt) A few extras in the bag would have been nice.

I couldn't see where I could contact the seller, so I am trying to do that with this review. Three of the four fenders arrived in perfect condition, but the driver's side front fender had a large gouge in the plastic. It is not on top of the fender (which would have caused me to replace the full set), but it is in underside face of the fender where it is noticeable, but not terrible. I hope they will send me a replacement driver's side front fender before I install them.Otherwise, the fenders seem like they will look great. My only concern is the durability of the plastic. It just doesn't feel as thick or strong as the plastic used in the OEM fenders that I am removing.

Haven't hit the trail with these yet, but installed them in just a few hours. Love that new hardware comes included. Little bit of a pain you have to install the rubber trim on your own, that took probably the most time. But at least they supply the trim. Love the extra clearance these give and the fact the use factory bolt holes! They look nice and the material seems sturdy enough, so we will see how they hold up on the trail!Update as of 5/26.Have taken my jeep out a few rides now and these things hold up great. I have a little bit of a tire rubbing issue in the back corners, but that's my fault due to tire size. Otherwise these things are great. Glad I didn't have to cut new holes or fenders off for the look I was going for!

The installation was as easy as can be expected but not that easy.I got a different set of flairs initially that looked nice but did not fit right. I ended up throwing them away. Bought this set and the quality of materials was about the same as the other one but these fit great but at more than 3 times the cost. Can't figure out what makes them so much more other than they made them the right size and added a small led light.

I like the flares, they give me some extra tire clearance. Two complaints though. There is no readily available replacement for the LED, others have been told to contact the company. They might send replacements for free, I don’t know. Also you have to cut your stock wiring and splice it to the LED wires but I guess there is no way around that.

Great product! Very lightweight, but durable once installed!! We have only put on the rear so far as our front flares match them pretty well. I was told by a local body shop there was basically only brand/type of flares I could get that would work with the body armor, but I absolutely hated the look of them. These were a "try and see" purchase and they worked perfectly with my armor!!! We are cruising mudding jeepers so not sure how these would hold up with more rugged trails and climbing.
