August Steiner Men's AS8084 Quartz Classic Silver Dial Slim Case Watch with Brown Over Nubuck Leather Strap

It's a very simple basic watch, which I wanted. Not the gaudy, "eleventeen" function monstrosities that others sell. It has the coated crystal face that really is scratch proof. Very thin profile, which I like very much. I changed the band the minute it arrived to a more classic chrome stretch band. The only problem I have is that in the watch case was a retail price tag for $599. I only paid $75 for the watch. I went to the August Steiner website & sure enough the exact same watch was listed for $599. I didn't fall off the turnip truck yesterday. This is either a very nice "Timex" & Steiner is a crook, or the watch is what they say it is & I now own a stolen watch. Very befuddling. I still like it a lot.

The watch head was great, looked really sharp. The leather band that came with it was garbage. After wearing this watch 2-3 times the thin leather layer was already peeling off to reveal cheap rubber underneath. For $40 I don't expect much but it didn't even last a week before starting to fall apart. Only way I would recommend buying this watch is if you bought it just for the head and replaced the leather band yourself.

An all around solid watch. It looks nice and it works well. No tick.This should be obvious, but don't think you're getting an amazing deal. Companies like August Steiner always have very high price tags that no one actually pays. They sell all their watches marked down like 90%. This is a $50. A nice $50 watch, but a $50 all the same.

Nice watch, but your listing states "three hands" It does not have three, only two. I would have liked a second hand, Please change your listing to reflect what is really included.

Good quality. Purchased for my nephew who liked the look and simple elegance of this watch. The price dropped between my first and second views of this item. That was a bonus!

Updated review: I purchased this watch almost three years ago exactly. Finally, it has stopped working. It has been absolutely reliable over that period of time and my favorite watch regardless of the occasion. My hope is that the battery has died and that replacing it will get the watch back to working like new. Highly recommend for an affordable, stylish, and minimalist watch.Original review: Ive owned this watch for a few months and so far it has been very reliable. I would have liked it better had it been a bit heavier as that you usually is an indicator of a watch's quality. However, this watch looks great and has worked well thus far.

The perfect antidote to those overblown, clunky "chronograph" watches apparently designed for the testosterone crowd. This one actually fits under your shirt cuff. Simple and elegant.

the only reason I gave it 3 stars is the watch strap arrived with some minor breaks in the black leather. the watch itself is all I expected.

As watches go I believe this watch is very good value for the price paid. In my opinion the face is slightly larger than expected but it may be because I have not had a watch with a white face. The face is a simple design and the stainless surround, hands and markings complement each other. The strap is sturdy but comfortable to wear. Overall a very good buy and I would look at other watches from the August Stenier range. Would I recommend this watch to others - yes most definitely.

Orologio da uomo davvero ben fatto! Il packaging mi ha lasciato di stucco, in positivo però...uno "scatolone" quadrato che conteneva all'interno l'orologio, che a sua volta "abbracciava" un cuscinetto, di quelli classici che si usano per i gioielli. Pellicola fronte retro (da rimuovere però. Non fungono assolutamente da protezione giornaliera), libricini vari ed etichette. Pareva avessi speso una fortuna..e invece! Non perde nemmeno un minuto..tiene l'orario perfettamente. Almeno fino ad ora. Pagato in saldo a 34 euro circa.Lo utilizzo da più di una settimana e sono pienamente soddisfatto. Lo consiglio a tutti, specialmente grazie al fatto che è un orologio per utilizzo quotidiano, che si abbina facilmente a qualunque (o quasi) tipo di abbigliamento, dal casual al classico (la morte sua). Stra soddisfatto!

very nice piece. My son loves it!. Looks sleek with a simple yet elegant strap. My only issue is that I ordered the silver tone one and they sent me gold. It was too close to Christmas so I gave it to my son anyway and told him I would contact them to have it exchanged. He decided to keep the gold tone one since he had received a different watch with silver tones from his gf. I can't say how they would have handled sending the wrong one since he decided to keep it. He does however say he loves it, so it all worked out.

Per la cifra a cui l'ho pagato non credo si possa trovare orologio più bello ed elegante di questo. Il movimento delle lancette è preciso e piacevole da osservare. Oggetto di ottima fattura. Quadrante molto pulito ed elegante. Cinturino in pelle, robusto.

Tiene mejor pinta en las fotos que cuando realmente lo recibes. Un reloj clásico bastante normal y elegante a la vez, pero que en las distancias cortas pierde mucho punch.
