MAINICHI-KOH Kyara Deluxe 300 Sticks by NIPPON KODO, Japanese Quality Incense Since 1575

As an avid collector of Kyara, this is my go to daily box for Kyara. It doesn’t have the depth of high quality Kyara, but the milky sweetness is there and does have the lingering odor. Excellent buy and worth trying from the famous house of Nippon Kodo!

Great quality sticks…that don’t have stick cores!Smell great! Slow burning. Medium sized sticks that last without smelling “burnt” that leaves a bad taste in the air.

Honestly this is the cheapest incense I’ve ever get. $15 for 300 sticks (actually over 350 in the box I got). The price is just incredible. The product labels as “Kyara deluxe” but I’m almost certain it does not contain any real kyara. Just treat it as an ordinary aloeswood-scented incense. The scent is very sweet and very strong. Don’t recommend staying close to the incense while burning. Keep some distance and it smells great. It does not have the sophisticated scent like the expensive incenses. But it will make a greater daily burner.

I am a huge incense fan, and aloeswood is my favorite fragrance. I've tried a lot of different ones at various price points, and this is the best I've found. The scent is spicy, woodsy, and light - very natural, not "perfume." This will always be in my incense collection now, and is one of my two favorites. (My other favorite is Kayuragi Incense Sticks - Aloeswood, which is more expensive per stick and is a little bit heavier.) I burn it daily. Also, although the price seems expensive - this is more than I usually pay for a box of incense - it is a large box with quite a lot of sticks. It will last a long time, and it is well worth the extra price for the high quality. Couldn't recommend it any more highly for aloeswood fans, or anyone who wants a complex, spicy fragrance that is equally pleasing for meditation or just daily atmosphere.

The smell of Kyara is definitely something sought after. These incense sticks are definitely a rounded version of the agarwood aroma: it's sweetened by other spices (mainly sandalwood) and there is definitely a wealth of musky and masculine tones. I can tell that there is agarwood in there but a reminder that this is a blend so if you're looking for pure agarwood/kyara/jinko, this is not it. It is definitely an amazing scent and I will use it very often! Just know what you're buying!Personally I love this smell and I can't believe that 300 sticks were so affordable. I'm very happy with this purchase!

While these are superior to Nippon Kodo's more economical offerings, there is definitely a strong perfume and palpable smoke to these. Rather than disappearing into the background, the scent takes center stage and draws attention to itself. Though not particularly chemical in its smell, the smell borders on the overpowering. I'd moved away from Indian incense toward Japanese for greater tranquility (i.e., in order to give my head and breathing a break), but these do not help me to achieve that goal.

The incense are good I buy them a lot I recommend them to anybody

This is my favorite incense so far! Very traditional. I use it daily in my work as a counselor and during healing/sharing circles, clients love it and often comment on how the smell is very pleasant compared to other incense. The stick’s do produce a small amount of smoke, but you only smell the incense afterwards. Highly recommend this one!

Parfum subtile et agréable. Un très bon encens. Rare.

Rather stronger scent than expected. Not ideal for my small space. Too bold, spicy-woodsy overall too much scent for me! Should have read the reviews more carefully before I purchased this box. Sigh….

Quality product, beautiful packaging and divine fragrance. Will order again.
