Don't waste your money and time on this product. I put it done with stakes and within an hour it was in all ripped off because of a light wind.

recieved this and was excited to try it. Got my landscape pins out and laid it down. it goes down easily but you do get covered with the fibers, then today, we had a kinda pretty windy day, this is now ruined as the wind ripped it right out of the ground. Thought using 20 landscaping staples would be good enough but guess since it was only laid down 3 days ago, it was not tough enough to with stand the 20 mph winds we had today. Will try to fix this again, but not very hopeful

This is a great ground cover. It's light weight, so you have to water it (per the directions) to get it to stay put. This is keeping the seed down in our yard, while keeping the puppy paws less muddy when they tear around outside. I particularly like that you don't have to pull this up after germination. It just breaks down into the soil. I bought all they had in stock at the local hardware store, then found it for a better price here on Amazon.

Don’t waste your time or money buying this and expecting grass to grow where you roll it out and keep it watered. Complete waste of money.

After several heavy downpours of rain washed away a section of shady grass and dirt, I got this and put it down over some new topsoil. After soaking it only once with a hose plus 2 light rains, new grass came up beautifully in about 8 days.

Didn't sprout well at all, would recommend it.

Put this down and while it does create grass growth its incredibly slow and the amount of grass has been a big disappointment. We've put down more grass seed to fill in the bare spot this was bought for. I wouldn't buy this again.
