Very good. Powder can be messy so I put it in a 2oz glass jar with screw cap to keep fresh. Add a bit of xylitol for sweetener. Only takes a little to make a nice beverage. I use 1/2 tsp in 32oz water with about the same amount of xylitol.

I love green tea and believe in it's health benifits! I started drinking green tea several years ago and buy much of it right from Japan. Fresh brewed Japanese Green Tea is fantastic, but, it is expensive and some what time consuming and time is unfortunetly a factor that gets in the way. So, I started to look for an instant green tea for those times when time is not on my side. This product is great! I won't kid you it's not fresh brewed, but then I didn't expect it to be, but, it is good enough for when I don't have the time and even when I do! Besides for the time factor, it's also a good value and that is why I have added it to my subscribe and save order so I can have it regularly.

I am usually hesitant about those reviews that state product was received free or discounted at the end, so let me say I did NOT receive free or discounted product. I paid the full price. The tea is a very fine powder and mixes easily. No wait time for brewing and it dissolves easily. The first cup I made was a cup of hot tea using the 1/4 teaspoon and 8 ounces of water recommendation, but I found it to be a little on the weak side. I increased the next cup to 1/2 teaspoon and found it more to my liking. However, I like a bold cup of tea. It has a smooth, full flavor you would expect from green tea . I was concerned when I opened the mailing package because the tea package looked as though some water had spilled on it and some areas were discolored. However, the tea was in good condition due to the inner lining of the packaging. One problem I see with the package is having problems with getting a small scoop or spoon in it when it runs low, but I'll cross that bridge when I come to it. As for the energy claim - Maybe a bit more peep to the step, but not full throttle energy. Caffeine does not seem to affect me so it could have been wishful thinking or maybe because I had some food as well. It does not keep me up at night if I drink a cup late in the day or evening. Overall I would recommend this product.

I chill a bottle of water, add powder to my shaker cup, add water and shake. Easy and tastes great. I was buying premium bottled tea, but the last case the lids would not come off. This is easy. I went back and bought the black tea too.

I can't handle caffeine. Rufus told me that this product only has 5 mg of caffeine per serving of 1/2 teaspoon powder. But most green tea powders have 20-80 mg of caffeine per perving. And when I drink this tea, even if I only have 1/8 teaspoon or 1/2 teaspoon of powder, I can already feel some discomfort because I can't handle caffeine well. My guess is that Rufus is not correct and that this product actually has way more than that. TEAki Hut should do the responsible thing and clearly mark on their label how much caffeine is in 1/2 teaspoon of power. As for the taste, I had a heaping spoon of Truvia sweetener and it tastes good. I don't know what it tastes like without the Truvia. If you can handle caffeine, this product is for you. I can't, so I will probably be switching to another product. Shame on TEAki Hut for not writing how much caffeine this product has on their label.

I bought this because of the previous reviews. I agree this is a strong tea. I make a concentrated batch in the beginning of the week, store it in my fridge and mix 1/4 cup of the batch with ice cold water. This is great with lemon or orange. I added a bit of honey because I like my tea sweet but not overly sweet. It dissolves beautifully. That was my main concern after buying a green tea powder at our local health food store, it would clump up and it tasted bitter. This is a smooth tea and I feel better already because this is what I use to replace sodas in my diet.

Good tea

I don’t typically write negative reviews but this situation deserves a bad review. My first order was delivered to the wrong house. Amazon refunded me for that but then this showed up and took my disappointment to a new level. This may have started as green tea but it’s now brown-orange grossness. I literally just unsealed and opened the bag just minutes before I took the pictures. The smell is as bad as it looks. After I took pictures it went into the trash along with my money. I am so disappointed! I should have walked away when it went to the wrong house but I didn’t.

Even if the package received states "Instant Green Tea Powder", it clearly rather contains the "Organic Matcha Green Tea Powder" sold by the same company. It really bums me because, while I love green tea, I really hate matcha. The color is light green, nothing like the picture, but very much like the matcha picture. The powder almost does not dissolve in water at all. This might be a good product if you're looking for matcha, but that was really not my case.
