Joyful Designs Adult Coloring Book (31 stress-relieving designs) (Studio) (Artist's Coloring Books)

This book is exactly what I wanted: something where I could just mindlessly color in. The doodles are so fun and some pages allow you to design a really pretty picture, and others allow for a less uniform picture. I'm really happy I got this book to help relieve stress and allow be to be creative without requiring too much attention to detail.

The media could not be loaded.  This is a wonderful set of coloring designs by artist Joy Ting for Peter Pauper Press. This is my first coloring book by this designer, so I wasn't sure what to expect. There are 31 designs that are mostly abstract and which are bold with dark lines throughout. Many of them are flower designs have a wild quality to them that does not exist in nature. The designs range from fairly easy to color to much more complex.The pages are a heavyweight white paper. This is fantastic as my pencils, gel pens, and ultra fine markers (except for Sharpies) do not bleed through on this paper. The designs are printed on only one side with the back side left blank, so if you are using regular markers or watercolors, you can put an extra page in between just in case some color leaches through.The pages are perforated and are extremely easy to remove. The paper is also acid-free which means that the paper will not turn colors with age and all the work you put into coloring the designs will be safe. Additionally, the binding easily lies flat and gives you access to make coloring in this book and easy and fun thing to do.It is a fun book to color in and the heavy, bold lines make it easy to put my colors in exactly the right spot.

Gorgeous pictures to color for the creative mind. An excellent way to unwind at the end of a day. Beautiful artwork!

This was exactly what I was looking for.Price is great, joyful designs are good to cut up, big pages.I wanted to use these as bookmarks. They are not as thick as the ones the library gives away. They claim: “Heavyweight art-grade paper is superior to that of other coloring books.”4 Stars for that.Recommend if you’re going to keep pages in the book. I wish I could sketch these.

I got this for myself because I needed to find a productive way to deal with my stress and anxiety. I really enjoy this coloring book, it isn't too complicated but there are s many different designs to fill it. It's a great way to get your mind off of whatever is going on in your life for a little while and decompress.

First of all, this coloring book came a day earlier than expected which was a huge bonus for someone as excited as myself. Secondly, I love the images in this book, they are so cute and will be a blast to color! Thirdly, I cannot say enough about the paper quality!! It is amazing. It's smooth and my markers don't leave indentions in it at all. There was no bleed through at all, only minimal evidence that something was colored on the front, (I used both the staedtler triplus fineliners and the paper mate flairs on the front page). The book came in a plastic sleeve in a fairly large box with the giant bubble wrap things. It was very well protected and is quickly becoming one of my favorite coloring books I own.

If you’re looking for a coloring book with bold lines and this is the book for you. I personally really enjoyed coloring and books with a lot of thick black why I prefer that to the very thin skinny lines. The patterns are fun and I wish there is more out there like this

Perfect thing to do when stuck inside due to being quarantined or just a rainy day

So disappointed. When you look at the mandalas there is not a lot to colour because the lines are soooo thick. Won't ever buy again.

Great product for the price. Think pages, great quality and good mixture of designs.

I have completed more in this series of books and I like them because they are printed on good quality paper with perforations. This book had these attributes too however I did not like the thick, black outlines which detract from the finished colouring. I will probably not finish this book - if I don't like the designs there is no point.

Beautiful patterns and images to color. Only drawback for me is that some of the outlines of the images are quite thick so there is a lot of black on the page.

The grandgirls are excited to start on filling up the pages with color...
