The violet... is blue?
Whether they forgot to add the red food colouring into this batch to make it purple I don't know but violet (coloured) it is not. Tastes... OK. I think it's a pretty artificial violet. Will look for something that actually has violet in the ingredients next time.

Lovely flavour in gin - just remember it’s a sugar syrup.
Lovely fragrant flavour, great in gin and other cocktails though very sweet compared to other brands so you have to be careful with the balance between adding flavour and over-sweetening your drink. Still great value for money and we will be buying again.

A poor substitute for La Maison Guiot
You get what you pay for. This is economical, but doesn’t have the genuine violet flavour of more expensive brands. Very sweet and sickly. Sadly, difficult to return once opened and tasted, so suggest try better brand.

More a royal blue than violet in colour.
Flavour ok, but even the smallest drop colours a gin a deep blue rather than the desired purple.
