SeedRanch Midnight Kentucky Bluegrass Seed (Certified) - 5 Lbs.

I planted this grass about 3 years ago in mid Fall about Oct/Sep in Southern California. It did took a while to grow due to the cool temperatures but have to admit once it started to sprout the grass grew fairly quickly! within a month I had grass, kept watering it, once it was set I followed it up with triple 15 fertilizer. Lovely deep green grass!!!!! Greener than my neighbors! Sadly I did not kept up with the watering when I added the fertilizer and it ended up burning out. Due to the deep green grass color (almost Blue) this will bring the colors of your plants/flowers out! Downside if weeds grow out on your grass it will also stand out due to the different shade of green. Bottom line this worked for me and bought again to start my new lawn.Just started out again with my lawn late July, will post pictures once the new grass grows out.

I am not an expert in lawn care. This is my first time seeding. KGB Midnight began growing in about a week and made my yard very beautiful. The photo was taken in one week interval. All I did was spray them with a starter fertilizer and water every night.——-The second photo is 5 week update. It looks like a golf course after the first mow. Amazed by its dark green color!

Usually I’ve had good results but this last batch hardly any of them came up

Totally unsure on if it is good, we put it down and now we do have some grass but we also have a ton of weeds that weren't there before putting grass down.

I purchased this for fall overseeding in my yard. I purchased it to mainly fill in some bare and thin spots in my yard. I mixed it with TTTF and I have amazing results. The MKBG seed did it's job and I see the runners are filling in and still spreading. It has great color!

Better looking grass

I planted this grass seed in fall 2015 and by mid spring 2016 I had a nice thick lush dark green lawn. I'm very pleased with the outcome and highly recommend.

The grass is coming up this spring and looks great. I love the color, after having my lot redone. Do yourself a favor and buy a few bases of hay to cover the seed and a PMS - "Poor man sprinkler" system. You'll need the sprinklers to keep the grass seed moist. The hay keeps the dang birds from eating the seed.
