Very Excellent Batch Quality
Purchased in December 2024 and was expiry dated to 1/2028. By mistake I opened the product not remembering how easily wheat germ can go rancid but I did tape the opening shut that I cut open and left in my room for three weeks and had recalled the rancidity issue. i put it off until tonight where I would freezer bag all remaining Wheat Germ Product. So I gave it a good mouth taste at this time with about a gram in my mouth and it tastes absolutely wonderful and sweet, just like it would have tasted off the kernel! I am so amazed at the quality and price of this product and I am so glad I made this selection.

Quality wheat germ
I bought this to get the longevity benefits of spermidine, which is heat sensitive. Tastes great, but very different from (not as tasty as) toasted wheat germ like you find in grocery stores.

Great savings!
Eating healthy is so expensive but buying in bulk and toasting amount used weekly really saves! Buying jars of Kretschmers every week can be prohibitive. But buy in bulk toasting some and vacuum sealing the rest in portions saves serious $$. Quality is the same and if you’re into saving having a vacuum sealer is necessary. Highly recommend this product to one & all!

Great flavor and protein
I have been using it in sourdough bread to give it more B vitamins, protein and wheat flavor and it speeds up proofing time because it has more carbohydrates. The wild yeast sourdough goes nuts for it.
