This Keyboard: A full review
The media could not be loaded. I couldn't even tell this was refurbished. The packaging it came in was amazing, everything held in place beautifully, plastic wrap to protect the keyboard. The keys are SO QUIET, you can really only hear them if you're the one using the keyboard. No matter how hard you game, you will absolutely NOT hear this keyboard in your microphone, or through doors/walls, which is why i bought it. The RGB looks very vibrant, not dull-looking like many rgb lights do, rather this keyboard's RGB is consistent throughout the entire keyboard and has crispy edges which compliment the keys. There are 3 light modes bult into the keyboard. (1) The colors pan across the keyboard from left to right in a slow, steady motion, like a stream of water. (2) The colors spin in a clockwise circle from the center of the keyboard in the same slow, steady fassion. (3) I call it the rain mode because random keys will light up all across the keyboard, there's usually always around 10-15 lit at one time, and they're different colors too. So Imagine if it was sprinkling rain on your keyboard and every time a drop hit a key it would light up a different color. The keys are SO, SO, SO satisfying to press, they feel buttery smooth, as a 100$ keyboard should. (Actually its value is more than that because this model is refurbished but still). The wrist rest is also actually comfortable for once, a lot of them aren't and I don't use them but this one is nice and does its job well. Only 2 criticisms (which are very minute but I thought I'd mention) (1) The onboard volume wheel is smooth as opposed to a "tactile" one like that of a mouse wheel. Still works and feels great but I sorta like how with mouse scroll wheels you can feel every "scroll". (2) Sometimes if you click a key on your keyboard before your PC has fully booted up, it will not work when you try to type in your password. Not sure if it's neccessarily the keyboards fault but I thought I'd mention it. All in all, don't hesitate to buy this keyboard if you're looking for something high quality and very quiet!

Perfect Keyboard.
Ok. I have tried many different types of keyboards on the market. This Strafe MK2 is one the best out there with Cherry MX Red Silent switches. Switches are so easy to press and VERY quiet. I had Blue switch mechanical keyboard (just generic Chinese knockoff brand). Those switches are nice and clicky, but THE SOUND THAT THING MAKES IS JUST TOO MUCH, especially when wife is working from home while I am sleeping next. I have tried Outemu Red switch mechanical keyboard for my office, and that thing was really hard to type on. Nothing like MX RED SILENT. I have Ornata Chroma with Mechamembrane hybrid switches for my desktop at home. Those switches are also nice and clicky, but little louder than MX Red Silent. At my office, I have DBpower mechanical feel membrane keyboard. Those are quiet, but keys are very wobbly and they have to pressed straight from top or there is some resistance when pushing keys down here and there.I had Logitech slim keyboard with scissor style swtches. Those are very quiet and nice to type on, but one crumble of whatever you are eating under the keys and you try to clean them, that key is destroyed. Very fragile switches. Very hard to take out and put the keys back on. I had my letter M and O keys destroyed because some cookie crumbles got under them. Loved the keyboard, but very easy to break.I also tried Steelseries Apex 3 with Whisper Quiet mechanical feel membrane switches. They are definitely quiet, but for prolonged usage, your fingers will be tired. They have good feel when you are trying them without connecting to the computer, but when you start using it, you feel these keys are really hard to press on. My fingers got tired after like 5-10 mins. But again, Strafe MK2 Red silent is quieter than this Apex 3 for me.So, if anyone looking for quiet and easy to type, this Strafe MK2 with Red Silent is just GO-TO. I bought it for Used LIKE NEW from this listing for $74. Compared to Original Price of this thing, this is a STEAL. Cables are rugged, you probably can hang yourself with them. And it also has USB passtrough.I see a lot of people complaining about the software. It looks little outdated compared to Razer Synapse software, but it does the job. Default Spiral Rainbow is the best for me with lowering the speed of the effect. I tried all the effects, and default one is the best one.THIS IS THE BEST KEYBOARD I HAVE TRIED IN MY LIFE. PERIOD. If you are looking, GET IT!!!

Great Mechanical Keyboard with a Volume Knob
I have used a few different Mechanical Keyboards, and this has been my favorite so far. I liked it so much, I bought a second one for work. In this model, I have the Cherry MX Red and the Cherry MX Silent. The Red is slightly louder than the Silent. But the travel and feel are the same.As a programmer, I use daily the play/pause button to control music. The volume knob works nicely on Windows and Mac. If you are using the volume knob for monitor speakers on a Mac, there is an application you can install to give you better resolution on the volume knob. But for all other speaker outputs, amps, and headphone outputs, the volume knob works perfect. The brightness of the keyboard is nice and configurable on the keyboard. The keys are easily removable to replace with other keys. I use the Silent at work. The textured keys are nice for gaming. The keyboard does require two USB A ports in your computers. Every couple of months I need to disconnect both USB cables to reboot the keyboard. It is not often and it is quick to fix.The next model up includes configurable keys, basically acting like an Elgato Streamdeck on your keyboard. I felt it was not necessary and stuck with this model. The keyboard armrest is nice. I use it every day. It is removable if you do not prefer it. I use this keyboard daily for work as a programmer and also gaming at night.I like the same of the keyboard. It is a full-size keyboard with a number pad. I have tried the smaller keyboards but found them too small and miss the number pad.The RGB colors are configurable. They can also be turned off. You can also have the lights on with the computer off if you just want the ambiance. There are dedicated keys on the keyboard to change the colors.

Very good first experience with amazon. Keyboard is what i ordered. Software is easy to use
I was a little nervous as this was the first time ordering anything off Amazon but i ended up just getting it as it was an insanely good price. The keybaord came from America and i ordered it in Australia. Only taking a week to get to my home. Amazon service was incredible with updating me where the keybaord was throughout its journey. They keyboard is exactly what i needed and could ever need with the lights being vibrant and bright. I read on a couple of reviews that the software is hard to use. It may be confusing but after about 5 minutes of messing around (dont be afraid to) the software is clear and easy to navigate around. 100's of thousands of online forums to help you out with software. Even a 24/7 call centre if needed. There are even live streams of people making lighting profiles for you to download at one click and drag and drop onto your keyboard. I highly reccomend this keyboard and i also highly recomend amazon as a fast shipping service with great prices. Good luck with your descision!

Key press is painful. Look and feel like another Chinese keyboard. Disappointing purchase

Reliable quality from a good brand
My son loves how the keyboard feels, the key caps and the lighting, which can be customised. He uses it mainly for gaming.
