Burt's Bees 100% Natural Origin Moisturizing Matte Lip Crayon, Redwood Forest - 1 Crayon

This is a great product and I can't believe Burt's has quit making it. It's not too shiny or too matte, is very moist on the lips, is reasonably priced, doesn't have a strong smell and I've found two colors I really like. I hope they will add this product back to their line.

The color is a tad lighter than I had thought, but this is perfect. I used to have a staple lipstick in Brick for years by another brand, but they phased it out and I've not been able to find that shade again, but this is it. As others have noted you do need to re-apply it; however, even when the full intensity goes away you are left with a lovely pigment on your lips -- so it does have some staying power. The shade is perfect on me and can be both professional and casual. My skin tone is fair and my natural hair color is greying-Brunette. The feel of it on your lips is wonderful -- not goopy, but instead smooth and moisturizing. I've not been excited about a lip shade in ages. Beyond that, I'm starting to evolve a lot of the products I use to less chemicals and more natural, so this is a perfect move health wise and it compromises nothing for me. I've been using Revlon's Matte Balm crayon for a while since other things were discontinued and I find no real distinguishable difference in the product (Revlon's pigment may stay a bit longer), but Burt Bees isn't putting a bunch of chemicals on my lips -- so Win! Win!

As I’ve used this lines products for years , I thought I’d try them lip crayon Vs another high end crayon. Bb’s lip gloss holds the color , is def moisturizing, and coot is flattering.I chose the color w online demo w same hair color fair skin. Def not what I expected.For whatever reason my other crayon stays on all day , is moisturizing, color is flattering.I didn’t request a swap bc I guess you get what you pay for. I do recommend their lip gloss but not the easier to apply crayon which dries my lips out , doesn’t hold color , and color wasn’t flattering as shown on demo. Had hoped I could find quality w crayon like the gloss bc it’s easer to use eso in the summer. Why it seems to blister my lips , I have no clue. Bc the gloss doesn’t. Wasted money. But every 10 dollars wasted adds up.Sorry guys. Couldn’t rave w crayon like gloss !

Beautiful colors with smooth, effortless texture and great longevity! Very mild, old-school smell; essentially fragrance free with similarities to vintage lipstick. True to color as well; the undertones are not orange-y or diluted as you would experience with many drugstore-level brands using inferior ingredients. I purchased Redwood Forest, Carolina Coast, and Sedona Sands. Burt’s Bees is a solid product line. I’m a big fan of their lip shimmer’s as well.

Moisturizing, soft, matte, great color

Color looks natural, not a bold color which I prefer.
