I thought from the picture that this hairbrush would be exactly like a vented brush I had purchased a hair salon on their clearance table. The brush I previously owned has relatively soft plastic bristles so they tend to give way when hitting a snarl in my hair rather than tearing my hair. I like that. unfortunately because the bristles were soft and weak they would also break off the hair brush. I was hoping to replace that brush with this one because they look so similar in size, shape and construction. When it arrived however I found out the bristles on this brush are more brittle than my previous brush - this gets stuck in my tangles rather than giving way. For the money it's like okay, you get what you pay for, but I wouldn't buy this again.Would probably be fine for you if your hair isn't very thick and isn't very curly

Love this brush! Contours to your head, so it feels like you are getting a massage on your scalp!!!! Love to brush my hair now!!!!I have only have had it a couple days, so we will see how it holds up....Fast forward... I’ve had this for us quite a while now and I’m absolutely loving it , it works better than any wet brush I’ve ever purchased. It goes right through my hair without any tangles!

My hair tends to snag, snarl and tangle bad when it's wet and it's sort of frizzy about halfway down (it runs in the family. As we get older if we let our hair get long its messy) This brush untangled the wet mess, took on the dry frizz and tamed it, plus I was actually able to blow dry my hair for the first time in 13 years without a brush tangling up in my hair. It also shortened the drying time somehow, plus it was at an easy angle to hold and use. For the price, I expected less, boy was I wrong! One of my best purchases ever!

I have not been gentle with this thing. It's has been shoved into bags, dropped onto tile floors, tossed into counters and desks, yet it's still going strong without even a single broken bristle.I purchased this brush in large part in hopes that it would be quick and easy to clean, unlike every other brush I've ever had, and it has lived up to my expectations. Removing hair from the bristles is a breeze with the end of a rat tail comb, and when I notice build up, I simply take it into the shower with me and rub (an actual!) clarifying shampoo around and between the bristles, then rinse it off and hang it up. Since it doesn't have a ton of bristles or a cushion, it's ready to go by the time I hop out.The bristles on this brush are long enough and stiff enough to get through thick hair while still being flexible enough to use on wet hair. I also love that it is vented, which saves time when blow drying my hair.The only thing I don't like about this brush is that if I'm not careful when brushing my hair, it causes breakage. My strands tend to get caught around the bristles instead of gliding past them, so I cannot simply tug it through my hair from scalp to ends the way I tend to or I end up with mega split ends. So, I feel like this brush needs a little more finesse on that regard. That said, if I could find a serum or spray that would add slip (and heat protection!) without making my hair look greasy, I imagine that the breakage would be reduced.

This brush glides through your hair. It’s like a spa treatment. A friend was raving about it so I tried hers. Funny! Sharing a brush at my age. Anyway, bought one for myself and my daughter.

As soon as I used it twice, I bought 2 more. Girls/women in my family have shoulder-length hair and a lot of it. Few brushes are big enough to brush ALL the hair but this design is! The "tines" exactly the right firmness and length - they are not flimsy. This brush is convenient for allowing air through when blow drying, AND allowing water to fully rinse out conditioner in the shower. I have no idea how long this brush will last, but it feels sturdy. If these 3 last 6 months, I expect I will buy at least 3 more - one for every vehicle and bathroom at least - and maybe some for the kids.

So far so good. I bought this brush because I have been having an issue breaking brushes in my hair. This brush seems tough enough to make it through my naturally curly wet tangled mess with no issues. I dont much care for the feel of the handle in my hand, but I think that has more to do with not being used to the type of handle than anything else. I would recommend buying this brush it does the job it is supposed to and hasn't broken yet. Which is more than I can say about the previous one I had before purchasing this one. I do not blow dry my hair so I can not speak on how well it helps with that, but I will say that the vents in it would logically make it easier to blow dry your hair.

This brush is exactly as advertised. Definitely help manage my thick hair when it’s wet without pulling clumps out. It’s just like the one my hairdresser uses in the salon so this was a win in my books!

I'm disappointed in this brush. It's very hard and stiff, in no way is it "massaging". For $30.00, I expected better quality.
