BUY THIS NOW...best auto part ever
This is perhaps the wisest purchase I've ever made for a vehicle. I'm using the EZ-106 on my 2017 Honda Civic LX. Installation (if you can call it that) was simple and straightforward. No leaks or anything like that. The valve works as designed.I use a 3-foot piece of vinyl tubing to attach to the nipple and allow the oil to flow into a pan. It does take a bit longer to drain the oil than it did with the normal factory plug, but doing so without any spills or oil-covered hands is a bargain trade-off.The quality is top notch and the price point is right. Everyone should have one of these on his/her vehicle. The environment and your skin would thank you.Honestly, I'm surprised these weren't invented 80 years ago and even more surprised that car manufacturers have not adopted them as an industry standard. And why hasn't the EPA mandated them? I had a similar idea to invent one of these many years ago and then discovered someone else had thought of it too.

Makes the oil drain process clean and easy!
I purchased two of the EZ-106 EZ Drain Valves, the first one about a year ago and another one recently for a second oil catch can. The oil catch cans shown in the images are both available on Amazon... search via the ASIN: B085NCY2S8 "SPEEDWOW Coolant Radiator Overflow Tank Reservoir Expansion Aluminum 1L" if you're interested in that item. The 14mm-1.5 tread fit perfectly with the threaded port on the bottom of the catch can and allows me to attach a drain hose for emptying when the catch can is full (usually about every 1-2K miles). Overall, this EZ-106 drain valve has exceeded my expectations. In the year of use that I have had one of them, it hasn't leaked, loosened, rusted, or broke. The plastic cover on the valve arm is nice and comfortable for your finger, and the valve arm locks in place so you know it is fully closed. Not much more to say other than it is a worth while purchase that makes the job of oil drains super easy and very clean.

Quality Valve for the Money
This works well for my application. It is installed as a drain valve for a parts washing tank and was a direct replacement for the M14 x 1.5 drain plug. The small handle for the valve is spring loaded and will drop into a detent on the valve body when closed preventing unintended opening. The internal ball appears to be stainless steel as well. The valve body also came with an O-Ring installed in the mating surface where it meets the tank. No leaks and easy operation when time to drain the tank.

Works on my 2021 Mercedes Sprinter
We use our Mercedes Sprinter with the 2.1L diesel 4 cylinder for over the road expediting freight. We installed this quick drain valve at our first oil change and now it has been two years and we have 175k miles on our van. It has NEVER leaked, or accidentally popped open while we were driving or parked, nor has it been accidentally been opened by debris we’ve hit in the road. Whether you’re changing the oil yourself or taking it to a quick lube, it is so easy to use and operate! If it’s windy when you’re changing your oil you can attach a hose to it to drain it to a pan with out being splattered in the wind! You also will never have to worry about an inexperienced tech stripping out the threads of your oil pan drain bolt hole by over tightening. Buy it! Simply, it works!

Works for the Ford Explorer 2010
Had the age-old oil drain bolt replaced by mechanics. The oil came out clean so probably we have to drive for 3000km before we get to use this valve but it has been installed. My SUV has a v6 Engine. It definitely eats money so I needed the mods like this installed earlier. It's the most affordable drain valve. I also bought a Fumoto for my Sedan. Both valves are good.

Fit my Ford 6.7L diesel.
Review is for E-Z 106 combo with straight hose end.I usually have to change the oil while RVing during the summer. It's a messy job being the plug is on the side of the oil pan. The oil is hot and shoots out when the plug is removed. Several improvised solutions have not worked successfully. I purchased this for several reasons: it has an O-ring seal against the pan; is chrome plated; comes with the hose end; was less expensive than its competitor. I installed it between oil changes and only lost about 8ozs of oil. Motor was cold and I removed the plug with both hands so as not to drop it and keep it in place until I got a finger over the hole to stop the flow. Next, again with both hands, I put the valve in the hole and gently turned it to start the threads. Finished turning it in by hand and then tightened with a Crescent wrench. Has not leaked but don't have many miles since install. The idea is great and I hope it makes an oil change on the road easier. One thing I did not anticipate was the final location of the valve and handle. Most pictures show the valve and handle at or near the 12 o'clock position (pointing towards the top of the oil pan). Mine is at the 5 o'clock position and the valve and handle protrudes slightly below the bottom of the pan. I don't do a lot of off road driving but this position could pose a possible problem.Right now I'm pleased and don't anticipate problems. Four stars only because I haven't used it yet.

Got this for my Duromax XP15000EH and it makes oil changes a LOT easier. Just hook up a short hose to the end and easy-peasy. Works great!
