Kinda clutzzy

I believe that silicone oven gloves are my favorite kitchen accessory.I found that these gloves are heavy duty without being heavy, and are heat-resistant. I have used them instead of pot holders when removing hot pans from the oven and I don't feel the heat. The gloves are a little big for my hands, but fit well enough, and I like how they give me a firm grip when moving the hot pans. I don't worry about the pans slipping out of my hands because these gloves are non-slip. They feature little raised hearts which not only help protect from oven heat, but act as little grippers to help you hold firmly to whatever pan you are removing from the oven. Another nice feature of these gloves is a tab with a hole so you could hang them up if you had a hook handy.The gloves are easy to clean – just a drop of dish soap, and stick your gloved hands under the running water; “wash your hands,” and pat dry on a towel. I was thrilled to purchase these gloves at a promotional price and was surprised to find an extra prodct added to my order. Included with the gloves was a round non-stick silicone mat just the right size to fit an 8” cake pan. In my opinion, I can now throw away the parchment paper, and just use this sweet little mat!

I have officially purchased everyone in my family a pair of silicone gloves. I bought these for my brother, when he came to my house, he noticed mine and wanted a pair. These are awesome for touching anything hot. Plus if hot liquid splashes on them, you don't get burned, like you do with those fabric oven gloves. These are also really great to use when opening those hard to open jars/bottles. The grippers on the gloves gives you the firmness that you need, to get those lids off. The only downside, is that the picture shows that the gloves are red, which is really what I wanted, but when I received them they were orange. When I asked the seller about it, he stated that Orange was their most popular color so Amazon shipped that. So if color matters, make sure to ask what color you are getting before ordering. *** I purchases these at a discounted rate in exchange for my honest opinion***

I really wonder why anyone would use fabric glove anymore. They get stained, they wear out/shrink and they don't protect you that well from heat. Even worse, they aren't waterproof.Now silicon gloves like these fix ALL of those issues. The Perfect Chef includes a PAIR of gloves--not just one like some other brands. They are interchangeable--either one can be used on either hand as they have the grip texture on both sides. That is a bonus because you don't have to pay attention to which glove you grab.The color in person is a bright orange--lighter than the photo reflects. The grip texture is little hearts--a cute detail. They are slightly smaller than other competing gloves--which means they fit my hands better. They still could be more "fitted" for me but that would be hard to do and still have them be a one-size-fits all product.I received this sample to review but the opinion is my own. I use reviews to guide my own purchases so I value honesty more than free products.

The mailman turned up and low an behold another set of silicone gloves to add to my silicone gloves collection! I guess i’m just lucky.These are great and absorb all the heat. They are a little on the small side compared to other I have used I don’t have massive hands and the fit me well.. like a glove. Feel like the will stand the test of time though until the half life of heated rubber at least.Quite thick and rubbery but I have no problem holding things with them which is the main issue if dexterity suffers to much due to the protective qualities. Super easy to clean if you spill something on them and there is nothing form this reviewer to stop them finding a home in your kitchen if you need them.Product provided for review - its just my opinion

Great gift for the foodie or King of the Grill. While I know these are typically used for grilling, they work great for indoors too--never reach in and burn the top of your hand again when pulling something out of the top rack of the oven, and they are high heat resistant. I have even used them in a 500 degree pizza oven.Cloth oven mitts can have burned holes or catch fire, not something you want near an oven or grill. These allow you to get close to the heat and, although they feel like rubber, they are silicone and won't melt.Also food safe and can be cleaned in the dishwasher too!
