Nice, affordable tire pressure gauge that's easy to read and use
This is a nice and affordable tire pressure gauge. I was surprised to find out upon arrival that the chuck head can swivel 360 degrees. This makes it great for reading pressures on awkwardly placed valve stems. The rubber housing around the gauge dial is a nice touch, as it mitigates damage from minor bumps and drops - once you drop a gauge it might lose accuracy.A couple of reasons I went for this gauge:The large dial has notches and numbers that are clear and easy to readMost tires I own should not exceed 60PSI, so this gauge can give more accurate readouts within my expected range. Each notch represents 1PSI, so there is little guesswork in keeping the other tires within the same range.Bonus:I received a message from Auto-Tec after ordering to get my impressions on this item. Very few companies can add this personal touch, but with their being a smaller company I feel like I can get a quick response with any issues that might arise. They also sent PDFs on how to properly use this item and find the correct PSI for your vehicle.

Useless product bought previous to this digital item changing
My order history only shows up with this digital tire gauge. A month ago I purchased the item in the photo via this same link. I wrote to the company, because it did not come with an Industrial Type D plug AND it has a thread a tiny bit smaller than 1/4 inch so it doesn't fit. No one responded and it is beyond the return timeline. I'm stuck with a useless product. At Home Depot and Lowes I searched for hours and talked to several employees. The connector piece to utilize it with my 1/4 inch tools cannot be found.

Used My New Auto-Tec Professional Tire Pressure Gauge, Its The Best
This Auto-Tec Professional Tire gauge works very well. This morning I had to go out and looked down to see a warning light on my dash. You guessed it the tire light was on and immediately I started to worry about getting a flat tire. I live in Florida and it was raining so I went on and finished my errands and tried not to think about the warning light. I didn't have my new tire gauge with me and even if I would have I wouldn't have gotten out in the rain to add air to tires. When I got home I let the tires cool down awhile and when I checked them they were all down around 24-25 psi. While checking air pressure in tires I thought surely there must be something wrong with this new pressure gauge. How can they all be so close and so low on pressure. I very rarely check tires but now that I have this Auto-Tec tire pressure gauge and it makes it so simple I will be checking more often. I double checked door jamb and all tires front and rear take 32psi. I got my small electric air pump out and in just a few minutes had all my tires filled to their proper level. Even after I went over on a couple the tires this gauge with the release button on side makes it simple to remove air and check again until properly filled.

Great deal for it's price range.
I like the feel, the hose length is about right- allows you to get to valves at multiple angles but not too long. Swivel works great & I haven't had any problem with the chuck sealing well (no leaking). The rubber outer housing is nice to have, since these always get dropped at some point. It seems to be accurate enough, but who's to say exactly how accurate any gauge is without calibrating. Just remember that a 60psi gauge is most accurate in about the 15-50 range, so if low pressures are crucial (i.e. dirt bikes), you might want to look at a 0-30 gauge. The bleeder valve is nice to have, but with this one, every time you take a reading, that valve needs to be pushed to reset it for the next reading. Most bleeders I've used will at least allow a higher reading if you add more air & re-check but this one does not work that way- you must release bleeder pressure before the next reading!Although it has kind of a cheap feel, keep in mind that for the price, it works as it should. Bottom line is that I'd buy another one of these. I took one star for the bleeder operation needing a reset every time.

Accurate & Slim Profile connector for tight spots
Just used this for the 1st time & LOVE IT already!!! Corny as this may sound, I don't know how I got by using stick gauges all these years, and I'm a retired guy and auto enthusiast LOL. The design is EXCELLENT because the slim profile head that connects to the valve stem connects so easily and fits into tight spaces. Being able to bleed off air accurately if you overshot on air pressure is a snap.In my situation, one vehicle is a '49 Chevy show truck with original style tubes/tires on the old split-rim wheels, and the valve stems of the inner tubes are as stiff as steel and in direct contact with the painted wheels. So, getting a regular tire gauge on the stem was really tricky - But not with this - it just slipped right in to the tight spot and got a good reading. Hope you found this helpful - Cheers

Defective
I purchased this a few months ago but I hadn't tried it out until today. It worked fine on the first 2 tires, then the guage permanently malfunctioned. No need to reset it because the guage would no longer set at all and I am not certain of its accuracy now.I changed my rating from a 1 to a 3 because of seller satisfaction. I'm well past the window for returning this product, however I wrote to the seller and they were extremely helpful in rectifying the situation. So while I'm not happpy with the product itself, I would definitely purchase from this seller again.

Accurate, well built.
Agrees exactly with two other expensive gauges I have.Seems solidly built. In my experience the major cause of leaks while checking tire pressure is misalignment of the stem and the chuck. If the chuck is not straight on, the valve will leak no matter how deep the chuck. The rotating chuck makes it easy to align with the valve stem.I lost no air while checking the tire pressures on my Expedition. The pressure hold feature is a pleasure to use.It eliminates all the contortions while struggling to get the bifocals lined up properly.Somehow all tire gauges are located too close for the distance lens and too far for the reading lens!Excellent product at an exceptionally low price.
