Aqua First NE4484 Hurricane Pool Vacuum, 6" L x 11.9" W x 29.5" H, Blue & Orange

After our first season of owning and using this vacuum in our 24' above ground pool, I am beyond pleased with it. It is very well made and easy to use. I haven't noticed any flimsy parts or construction/ function flaws. It has very good suction and picks up large leaves as well as sand, silt, dead algae and bugs. With other rechargeable underwater vacuums, I've had to ball up a paper towel or something inside of the filter basket / bag to catch very small particles from being sent back into the pool. That is not the case with this vacuum. It has an initial chamber that catches most large leaves, pine needles etc. Then. there's a smaller mesh net that catches most everything else other than the smallest sand and algae particles. Those are caught and held onto in the large bag that goes over the smaller net/ bag. When the description said that it will clean for up to an hour or more on a charge, I was not optimistic based on past vacuums I've used. However this one has blown my mind with how well it works even after a few uses on one charge. Again, our pool is 24' round. One great thing that sets this vacuum apart from others is that the charger light changes to let you know when it is fully charged. unlike the intex ones I've owned. This vacuum has proven to be a great, no brainer purchase so far. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an electric, rechargeable underwater vacuum.****UPDATE ***** I grabbed the vacuum out of our pool building, gave it a charge and today attempted to use it for the first time this (second) season. When it didn't come on, I didn't worry....at first. I checked to make sure that it was fully charged- then that everything was hooked up properly and that there were no air bubbles in it. I tried it again and it is dead. I mean dead. I can't put into words how disappointed I am right now. It worked so amazingly last season. Now, after investing a pretty penny for this, I'm feeling like a chump. I have sent a message via Amazon to the seller about this but I can't say I'm optimistic at this point.

Just got my vac, gotta say a bit to put together. This is all new to me ,this vac operates only when sumerged,a bit heavy,seems to work good,several places you have to clean ,kinda tough,tte small filter,then twist the bottom off it also catches debre. I have an above ground salt water pool. I have vaccumed the whole pool 2x & the battery is still going !! That's a plus,so other that the hard to clean filters,& putting it back together I think it will be. The test is will it last more than 2 years,I hope so!!

Best pool vacuum I have used! I’ve gone through several and nothing gets the small debris like this one. The only thing I dislike is the handle is not adjustable for height. But I was able to attach my skimmer pole to where the handle is. Also, the shipping was a lot faster than I expected. It was supposed to arrive within a week of ordering but ended up arriving the day after I placed the order.

I wouldn’t recommend that anyone buy this product b/c I only rec’d less than one season of use out of it before the battery became defective. Not only was the battery life depleted after one season, but the customer support on this product is awful. I couldn’t get a replacement battery from the supplier at all: I.e, under warranty or even for purchase. I also couldn’t find a alternate source to buy the replacement battery on-line, so after less than one year, I’m looking to buy a new pool vacuum and it certainly won’t be an Aqua First product.

My vacuum seems to have a short I sent a email to Amazon to find out where I can exchange for another vaccum. I found out the product is made in St.Charels Il. I live only 6 miles away to make a easy exchange

We purchased last year and didn't need to use since it was end of season. Tried using for the first time this year and it didn't work. Theres a 30 day return policy amd nothing else to cover outside of 30 days. We purchased a 2 year warranty and can't even get a claim filed with Asurion, an error message keeps appearing. Their customer service is very unhelpful. Walking away feeling scammed since we purchased the extended warranty and they aren't honoring.

I'll keep it on charge for a day, then I'll get in the pool with the vac, start cleaning and in about 3 minutes it's dead
