Vardama Men's Black Tech Shirt with Sweat Proof Performance Lexington Tailored Fit

I am a server and have to wear black long sleeved shirts to cover tattoos; I also just so happen to have the tendency to overheat and sweat easily.These shirts were the exact thing that I was looking for! They keep me cool, as well as most importantly, dry, throughout my whole shift and if some sort of liquid happens to get spilled on them, it will simply bead up, and brush off.I also found that these shirts are roughly only half the price, compared to other shirts that promised breathability that I came across during my research. This is nice because I was not looking to drop a pretty penny for a shirt that is going to have to go through the trials and tribulations of a restaurant work environment.

This shirt has a pleasant texture to it. The material is meshy and slightly see through if you look at it at the right angle. I like the way this shirt looks.The sleeves are longer than on standard shirts but not too long.I find the sweat proof claim strange. If the material prevents spills from soaking through, how does it also not prevent sweat from going the opposite way?In practice, I walked 10 blocks wearing this shirt, a blazer and a backpack. By the end of the trip the lower back of the shirt was wet. I couldn't feel while walking but this became noticeable once I took the blazer off.I dance a lot which produces a lot of sweat. I would say this shirt is similar to other cotton shirts in how it handles sweat, which is to say, it gets less wet than polyester, and it does dry out relatively quickly, but it does get wet with sweat just like an ordinary cotton shirt or a T-shirt would.
