Best value for added non-permanent living space (with a few mods)
In some places you cannot attach a permanent addition to your RV, so this removeable enclosure is your best option. We're going on our third year with this enclosure and it's still working well, though some shrinking has occurred on the top. We've had several snowfalls of 6-16 inches it's held up fine, by removing snow at intervals. We created solid privacy walls out of coroplast panels and installed them on the outside of the screen room by using a combination of screen door clips, and large diameter washers with screws attached to the aluminum frame. Then we covered the gaps between panels with coroplast "battens". We cut some windows in the coroplast, but making them too large caused the panels to buckle, so we're re-doing the panels this year. Windows are covered with clear plastic sheeting, but the plastic didn't hold up to freezing and needs to be replaced with better material. We also covered the entire inside of the roof with coroplast sheets slipped between the frame and the roof cover, and installed a 2x4 support beam with a center post. This really made a difference in the ability to handle the weight of some snow. Plus the sheets help divert some of the leaks that have cropped up. In hindsight, we should have treated the vinyl roof with elastomeric coating right away to help preserve it and prevent leaks at the seams, but we'll do that this year. What I dislike the most is the leaks, and the ability for bugs to get inside easily because the roof is not attached to the screen panels and the vinyl flaps around in high wind. So while I haven't been able to make use of the space as much as I want for outdoor relaxation, it's still been critical to store our trash cans, coat closet, a utility cabinet, and a work table. It provides a sheltered entrance and place to remove wet clothes, and helps to regulate temperature inside the RV.

wonderful cost-effective product!
simple, attractive, and cost-effective added living space to an RV.. I full time time in my RV in Florida. I have had it up for more than a year and it has weathered many hard storms and has held up very well. a no-brainer if you're looking for something to add living space. not seeing any snow here in Florida the room is on all the time and has been buffeted at times with 50 mile an hour winds and keeps on going! Absolutely love it. Highly recommended.
