I like how easy this tool is to use once everything has been updated the first time using it. Takes a bit of time for all the new updates to happen at first. But after that it's amazing to use. Haven't had a problem with it unless it's scanning a car that requires a Japan thing. Still haven't figured that one out but it's only on a handful of cars on the road today. But it works great for what I use it for. Especially because I work for a shop that requires me to use a better scanner like this to get into some of the more in depth scans to find out a problem with a car. And once fixed can go back to the same car and make sure it's fixed and clear out codes that need to be in order for it to make sure the issue was fixed the first time around

Worked great. Great for diagnostic work. Unfortunately if you have a Chrysler vehicle you have use adapter to get around their security module,(2018 and newer) or sign up for Auto Auth ($50 a year) . Was able to do a lot of procedures, that previously would have had to take to dealer for. Well worth the money.

I have a 2019 Winnebago View Motorhome built on a 2018 Mercedes Sprinter 3500 chassis. This Autel scanner has already paid for itself. I was able to quickly troubleshoot a code for the airbag/restraint system. The scanner led me straight to the failure, a broken wire under the driver’s seat. I fixed the wire, reset the code and was on my way. Saved the hassle of having to go to the Mercedes dealer. This Autel scanner will also do the other vehicles I own. We don’t leave home in the motorhome without the scanner. It is worth every penny I paid for it.

Does pretty much everything the higher priced scanners do, excellent value for the money. My only complaints are that the interface is unrefined and a bit clunky to use, and it can be slow to boot up. But thats to be expected from this price range, overall quite happy with it.

I was super pleased to be able to plug this into both my 2007 Jaguar XJ/R as well as our 2006 Escalade. It was easy to read the various codes that had been logged, mostly by prior owners and It was no problem to simply clear all of them, so going forward I'll be able to deal with them as they arise. One code that came up showed that I had an EVAP issue and I easily cleared the Check Engine light after retightening the gas cap.

This is a good tool for the at home mechanic who needs a little more than a typical diagnostic tool. I have a second GEN Tacoma and I needed to reset the passenger occupancy to make my airbag light go away. One of the refuse says that it is not possible to do with the scanner I can confirm that it worked on my truck. This thing has been a lifesaver when diagnosing mine and my friends cars. Would buy again.

I would like to thank Emily for being very supportive in solving the problem that I had with the scanner I bought. After long chat sessions she was able to setup a way for me to return the defective equipment and got me a replacement which I just finished setting it up and working perfectly. Again thanks Emily

Highly disappointed, received a used device screen is scratched and has finger prints already on it. Cables were out of their bags and wrong power adapter and usb cable in the case.Update: Contacted Amazon and they said seller listed it as new which it was not. Amazon agreed to send me a replacement that was new.Once I received the replacement I immediately opened the box and inside was a new unit sealed in the manufactures white heat sealed shrink wrap.The printed slip sleeve that goes over the case was clean and damage free.All the cables were sealed in clear packing bags as expected along with the correct power adapter.The scan tool was clean, undamaged and unused.Amazon was not at fault. Person who purchased and returned after one time use.Trying to give the seller the benefit of the doubt and It could have have been an oversight by the seller. But considering the price of these items as they are not cheap I wouldn’t be surprised if it was intentionally returned to inventory as new.But now that I have received the new unused unit I have to say I am very pleased with it snd it’s perform.

The tool allows both live data, and active tests. So, example, you can perform cylinder contribution, but you can also shut down cylinders independantly. The live data is quite rich and includes all your engine paramets as well as a lot of ody equipment, switch activations etc. Suitable for basic auto maintenance for a mechanic.
