SO durable, unbreakable, great color variety, perfect for toddler hands!
These are fantastic crayons for our toddler! She is 22 months, we got these originally when she was around 18-20 months and first interested in coloring. Breakability is none! I'd be shocked if a toddler could actually break these in half. Color is vibrant and totally worth the price. They are soft enough and thick enough for the tiny hands to hold, but also durable and honestly have not really worn down at all at this point, which is almost strange, haha! At first we had gotten just general crayons for her and those just kept snapping in half so easily or the ones that did survive, would get worn down to the paper quickly and it was just inconvenient to have to peel the paper away and to constantly pick up tiny pieces of crayon or worry that she would eat the extra tiny pieces of regular crayons. These were such a great buy, highly recommend.

Blue is not pigmented
Crayola is known for being the best quality crayon due to their bright, pigmented colors. You can imagine my disappointment at seeing this blue crayon, which is hardly pigmented at all. It’s pale blue, which in my opinion, that makes it worse than a cheap dollar store crayon. I compared this Crayola blue to a non-Crayola crayon we got at a restaurant and the difference is pretty obvious (and embarrassing for Crayola). I don’t know what happened there, but all the other colors seem bright and bold like the quality I expect from Crayola. Otherwise, they are the perfect size for toddler hands and my son likes using them. Please fix your blue! :(

Perfect for toddler hands
Perfect for little hands. The crayons won't snap in half! Good variety of colors.

Not worth it!
These crayons were way too short for a toddlers fingers. He could not grasp them properly. They also are too pointed and the tips broke off on the first day. They were useless as a first crayon experience.

Poor quality thick beginner crayons.
These beginner crayons need to be able to produce deeper colors. You have to press too hard to get the colors onto paper. If I had a hard time getting the colors to look bright and full on plain paper because I had to press them too hard, a child’s hands are not strong enough to get vibrant colors to show up on paper no matter how hard they press the crayons onto the paper. When I was a child working with thick beginner crayons, the colors came onto to the paper much more easily, the colors were clear, and discernible, and the color came onto the paper much easier. I would never buy these crayons again.
