Ruff vs. Fluff (A Queenie and Arthur Novel) Kindle Edition

I realize this is written for youngsters, but at 62 I thought it was a hoot. Enjoyable story, I look forward to the next in this series.

I have read all of Spencer Quinn's books. My favorites are the Chet & Bernie series, followed by the Birdie & Bowser series. This is the first of this series and it was very good. Not as good as the other two in my opinion, but very entertaining. Since I'm not a cat lover, it ranks below the others, but I have to admit, Queenie is a very interesting character. Worth reading, and I will get the next one in the series when it comes out (already pre-ordered).

I was eager to read this novel based on the reviews. However, I found the story dreadful. Slow, not funny. Queenie and Arthur weren't engaging animals. Cats are my favorite, but I love dogs, too. I felt the author wasn't in touch with the way the pets saw the world. Writing is mediocre. Should mention I'm an adult (long retired writer), and this did not work for me. Maybe kids today would find the style appealing.

I read all the Chef and Bernie books and enjoyed them all. Being that this st has both a cat and a dog O wanted to read it. Looking forward to reading the rest of these books in this series.

I really enjoyed this book...the characters were excellent and believable and the storyline was very good. Plus Spencer Quin certainly understands dogs and cats.

Queenie and Arthur are such adorable characters. They add their own insight helping their humans solve a murder and the mystery of the missing map and found gold.

It’s a wonderful book can’t wait to finish it and go the to Book 2.

I found the book to be very humorous and it had a very good mystery line. I bought the book for my grandson and one for myself because I love reading all of Spencer Quinn's books.
