Q: Is this a plug and play unit? Can I just hook it up to a power source and hit go?

Although I see the seller hasn't answered your question, I believe I can help. This unit comes with the compressor, control board and condensing coils, it lacks the evaporate coil/fan unit required to complete a refrigeration system. More parts would be needed and certainly assembly required to the other components, which is understandable. Those would depend on your design/equipment layout. Contemplating getting this unit myself. Let me know if I can answer another question for you. Added two questions myself.
