These two 7 inch monitors were purchased for the purpose of being used on two flight simulators. The intended usewas to connect them in such a way as to make an in-flight Garmin GNS 430 and 500 stand-alone (off the mainscreen) moving map images available, such as what occurs in the real airplane. These monitors did not work for thatpurpose. They would only display the desk top image. I found out after they arrived, that they require a resolutionfar lower than what the flight sim equipment PC is able to produce. Therefore, these two 7 inch monitors areunusable for their intended purpose and must be returned to the vendor.

The media could not be loaded.  This monitor does exactly what it says it does. And it even came with all of the cables (except VGA and I think everyone has one of those laying around.)I especially like how this model has full size HDMI and VGA ports instead of relying on adapters and dongles.On Raspberry Pi 4 with the most updated version of Raspbian (as of 6/30/2020) it was literally plug in play. For fun I even hooked it up to my PS4 and it just works! Recommended!I have to do alot of servicing on systems in closets and on Linux/BSD/ESXi hosts and everything I've hooked this thing up to so far has worked perfectly. It's awesome to be able to keep it in my briefcase instead of lugging around a full monitor.RECOMMENDED

When I use my GoPro Hero7 Black camera to do dashcam recordings, I connect this monitor to set up the camera and make adjustments to the mounting position and the diffusion filter. Since the monitor runs on 12V, it is very convenient to connect it to a standard 12V car plugin adapter. BTW I purchased this from Amazon Warehouse where it was listed as USED ACCEPTABLE. While the retail box showed signs of considerable wear and tear, the monitor itself looked brand new and included all the accessories.

Not sure why, but this monitor doesn't seem to work with a raspberry pi. I have had mixed success with it being able to function, however it is extremely bizarre. I have tried two pi's, neither worked, despite unplugging the hdmi cord and plugging it into another monitor and everything working perfectly after another power cycle. Strangely, the monitor works with a windows 10 laptop, it just appears that it is something about the raspberry pi's that disagrees with them, perhaps a driver chip or something.

Needed a small monitor that could display 1080i using HDMI to work with my older 5.1 video receiver and this unit fit the bill.The base height can be adjusted which worked out for my limited space above the receiver.Screen and pictures quality are very good but with such a small size it’s difficult to notice any flaws.Delivery was typical Amazon prime 2 day.
