I purchased these because my dog is so difficult to groom. I thought a pair of professional scissors would make the easier, which was so true. I primarily use the curved scissors which have maintained their sharpness with no problem.

The scissors work OK, but the thinning shears are worthless. My dog didn't need to be groomed when I first ordered this item and didn't use until this past week. I was so disappointed. I did not realized Amazon had such a short return period on some items and as a customer since 2003 I am very disappointed to be STUCK with this worthless item. If I could rate it as "0" I would.

I don’t know why I waited so long to buy a set of these. It may grooming my dog and my cat a lot easier.

The set that I received is not sharp at all. Not even the thinning shears. I would not recommend at all.

The straight ones broke during first use. I have a shetland sheepdog so she has a lot of hair. Would not recommend for long hair dogs that need a lot of trimming.

Quality scissors! Sharp enough, and I like the rounded tips so I don’t poke an eye out!

Scissors are sharp with the exception of the thinning shears. The thinning shears work but not that well. Love the curved scissors; great for shaping! Scissors are a little heavy and the plastic inserts pop out easily. Comb works well.

This grooming set for dogies is very nice and looks like good quality!
