Great pens
I've been a huge fan of the namiki capless vanishing point pens forever. Super smooth, the luxury of a fountain pen with the utility of a ballpoint pen.

I'm a Vanishing Point FANatic! :) Great Pen All Around!
I recently purchased a Vanishing Point (gold nib/m) and liked it so much I wanted to experience the (f) version of this iconic pen. I found one on Amazon and after budgeting carefully, pulled the plug and bought it. It arrived on-time today and did not disappoint! For any fountain pen enthusiast/hobbyist, it is a must have in your collection! (Nope, I don't work for Pilot - or any pen company) It's just a great pen to have and hold. Already thinking about what the next one will be.

THE PEN OF A LIFETIME
For me, the concept of "ideal fountain pen" depends on four factors. Two pre purchase ones: design and price (if someone tells me that I pay 75 EUROS and have such a high quality pen delivered from Japan to my door, I think they are kidding me). The other two are post purchase: durability and nib performance (unlike the whole bunch of plastic-to-resin made Pelikans, Montblancs...this pen just won't crack if you drop it a hundred times; besides, the nib is so smooooooth that the paper underneath feels like an ice surface). To cap it all,I would add an extra fifth factor: usefulness. Yes, guys: quick notes are inherent to our lifestyle, and you know how unnerving it is to have to post/unpost for just a few words. Push the button once and get the nib in/out instantly. This pen of a lifetime synthesizes the Japanese ethos: beautiful, realiable, functional, and accurately finished. Visit JAPAN WALKER's store and see the wide variety of colours: you'll be blown away.

A little pricy but worth it - a truly incredible pen!!!
Can't say enough good things! Sadly the color i bought was just because it was the least expensive option. It is literally the color of turmeric. i loved it so much i bought one for work too!! the clipplacement may be irritating for some, i actually like it. Sturdy build, should be around a good long while!! It is more than i normally pay for my fountains, but i'm very happy with the purchase!i use my fountains at work and the constant uncapping and capping to avoid nib dryout - these days are over!!!!! this pen doesn't miss a beat!!! LOVE IT

Not a gold nib but solid body
I have several vanishing point/vanishing point decimos and was shocked to see this limited edition color (according to my local fountain pen retailer) so cheap. I ordered one of course to see what the situation was because I’m very into yellows lately. This has the same build as my other VP/VPDs but the nib isn’t the same as the rest. It’s fine for a steel/alloy nib but swapping in one of the gold nibs made it a significantly more pleasant writing experience. I’ll be buying a gold replacement nib from one of my trusted fountain pen retailers and happily use the pen with that nib.
