Neato RoboticsOriginal Replacement Parts- Boundary Markers, 13 Feet, Compatible with all Neato Intelligent Robot Vacuums.

So I have an Amarey A900 robot vac which came with about 7 feet of boundary strip but was not nearly enough for my needs. I have a stairwell open on 3 sides I need to block off. I contacted the manufacturer and they said they did not have any other strips for sale nor were any others compatible on Amazon but they would look around and send me another if they could find one! This is poor customer service, in my book. I was willing to pay for it - I wasn't asking for anything for free. Surely they have boundary strips - they include one in each vacuum package! Anyway, I looked at the boundary strips on Amazon and this NEATO strip was brown, as was the one I got with my vac and looked the same so I ordered one. I figured I could return it if it didn't work. Well, it works perfectly and is about twice the length of the one that came with the vac. I put the strips down and weight them on each end with paperweights so I don't have to tape them to the floor. This was a win. I may order an second one because I like to partition my open floor plan off so the vac cleans just one area at a time without wandering all over the place.

These worked great. I am ordering 4 more sets. When you use a normal vacuum you have to move some items to vacuum. I am going to make some areas to set these items in so I can vacuum the whole house instead of blocking off rooms. Then when it is finished vacuuming the house, I will set the Neato in those blocked off areas and let it vacuum them. I find that it is best to use a piece of tape to hold the boundary marker in place. In my dining room I have 6 chairs and two pedestals. The Neato will vacuum around all of that, but it will save time and battery if I block it off, then remove the chairs and set it back in the blocked off area after it has finished vacuuming the whole house.

Work as they should. I taped them down between high-pile carpetted rooms. They will not work when there is about a 3/4 step in the threshold between two rooms. Cuts easily. Yes, you need full width because the Neato has two sensors -- one at each front corner. If either sensor can find a hole in the magnetic field, it will straddle the magnet and partially enter the area that you want protected. My guess is a 1 inch gap is too large unless there is a solid wall at the extreme end of the magnet. The solid wall would keep the Neato from turning in line with the magnet.

This magnet stripe is a very clever way to make barrier to Neato botvac. It is more clever than those infra-red barriers other models use because, even the IR having a very tec appeal, it is not as practical nor it is discrete. With this magnet barrier I can simply glue it to all doorstep that go outside the house and every bathroom doors and/or any place I don't want neato to go and the barrier will last there virtually forever. No need to batteries or power outlets, no need to extra hardware. This fits perfect.Pros:-Very easy to use, install-Almost seamless on the floorCons:-Very high price tag for this kind of thing (there are other brands similar products costing a fraction - worth try it)

Doesn't work at all. The D10 rolls right over it without stopping and gets itself stuck on the thing being cordoned off. Waste of money, do not buy.Additionally it does not come with an adhesive back, so you must tape it down yourself.

This works well to mark boundaries with my Neato. Easily cut to length with a scissors.I found a bonus use. The other day I spilled a large number of small nails in the garage all over the workbench and onto the floor. What a pain, picking them up. How would I be sure I spotted them all? Then I had a brainstorm. These strips are good magnets. Sweeping them across the bench and over the floor and the nails jumped to the tape.

After reading lots of reviews for D3 and other vacs. I ordered these strips and some filters at the same time I ordered my vac. So far I haven't needed these at all. Even when it looks like neato is trying to get stuck in a corner or intentionally trying to wedge itself under the fridge he always returns to dock and hasn't got stuck at all. Anywhere. Granted i have a small place with no stairs or carpets ,except a few area rugs. So far neato has performed very well, however I've only had a little over a month. I havent tried the app or schedules since post hurricane Michael internet is non existent in most of the area. Since i haven't used these i dont feel cormfortable giving more than 3 stars especially considering price. Will update later.Update. The day after I wrote this neato started shutting off during cleaning and crying for help. Followed trouble shooting steps and resets. None of it helped .Worked perfect for a month but now doesn't work. Will be returning unit. Doesn't seem worth a exchange

We've owned a Neato robot vacuum cleaner for about 5 years now. The one problem with the Neato is that it just wants to go around the edge of the room, and since we have a very open floor plan--well, we need these strips to get the Neato to clean the center of the room. These strips work to keep the Neato confined to a location.

Title says it all. Does not work, Neato just rolls right over it and carries on.

Funzionano bene come quelle contenute nella scatola di acquisto del neato. Molto utili quando si é di fretta e non si vuole sistemare qualcosa o per chi ha le ciotole di cibo per gli animali

Fonctionne très bien et est facile à découper selon les besoins. Dommage que ce soit si cher !!! Je m'en suis servi pour baliser la base de mes tabourets puisque Neato a tendance à s'y coincer.

Diese Begrenzungstreifen sind wirklich unerlässlich, wenn man keine Lust hat ständig Barrikaden zu bauen.Bei meinem Neato Botvac funktionieren sie auch ganz wunderbar. Gut, der Preis ist wirklich sehr hoch!! Ich hoffe allerdings, daß es eine einmalige Anschaffung ist!!
