Quick charging/durable. unfortunately the issue is with my phone port. I have to have the cord just right.

Works great!
I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 8 and the original charger was dying a slow death. I saw this cord on Amazon for a great price and decided to try it. It fits perfectly and charges quickly. The only "bad" thing about the charger is how short the cord is. Everything else is perfect.

Fast charging capable but only for specific devices
There's almost a never-ending need for wall chargers today as you never know when you'll find yourself at a gym, airport, office or hotel room needing to power your device up. A wall charger like this one from Cluvox is just what the doctor ordered for situations such as these where you need something that gets the job done, yet doesn't take up a lot of space and won't break the bank if it's lost or stolen.Cluvox's charger is 2-piece USB-C Quick Charge 3.0 capable charger. The power brick is thick enough to rapid charge a device but won't obscure other plugs in a power strip or wall outlet. The included USB-A to USB-C cable is a thick 3.3ft cable made of a fiber Cluvox claims is "fireproof," "bulletproof" and has passed a "6000+ bend" durability test. Cluvox even claims to have a 30-day no questions asked return policy and an 18-month warranty. I can't vouch for the veracity of those claims, I can only say I wish the cable was at least 5ft long and was braided but I digress.A huge word of caution when buying this charger:Cluvox clearly states in the product description "This type c fast charging wall charger couldn't support for Nintendo Switch/Google Pixel, Pixel XL, Pixel 2XL, Pixel C, Nexus 5X, Nexus 6P, IOS devices. Because these [phones] don't support Qualcomm QC 3.0 /2.0 protocol. They support other [types] of fast charging protocol." I have noticed reviews making note of fast charging not working for some of the devices on this list.Please note, you WILL NOT gain any rapid/fast charge benefits from this charger if it doesn't specifically use Quick Charge protocol. Not only does the manufacturer state as much in the product description, but when I tried it with my iPhone 8+ I felt the charge speed was similar to that I gain when using the 5W power adapter that shipped with the phone when I first bought it. As a side note, I have a Samsung S8+ (I know it's old, upgrading soon) and someone I know has a Samsung S8. While my phone showed "fast charging" when attached to this power brick, the other person's phone didn't show this same message. In fairness, this charger seemed to power their device up as similarly fast as it did mine, but I felt it important to divulge that in my testing two devices that are QC 2.0 capable responded differently when plugged into this charger. I have no explanation for this.Overall, I wanted to love this charger. It's well priced and even comes with a 15% discount at the time of this review. The power brick seems well made and is sized perfectly for tossing in a backpack or gym bag plus the detachable USB-A to USB-C cable seems sturdy, even if it isn't braided or as long as I would like. The major drawback of this charger is compatibility. It's not fast charge friendly for Pixel, Switch or iOS devices. I even experienced an oddity when charging two variants of the same model phone. Because of the above, I can only recommend this charger if you have an LG or Samsung smartphone that has been specifically designated as being quick charge capable. Even then, Cluvox's offering would have to be the cheapest available option otherwise I would probably skip it for other options.

It works. It's sleek and does what it supposed to do. I bought another one because I was pleased with my first order.

Does Not Fast Charge
Doesn't fast charge my Google Pixel phone as described.

Good Basic USB-A Charger
It's quite simple, only one plug, but it does provide 18w which is quite a bit, and over the legacy usb-a. Good for those holding out and not converting to full usb-c.

You need a fast charger
Fast charge is great. My charge time is now 70 percent faster
