Not too many pieces to deal with. Enjoyed painting. I wish the windows were molded, would look amazing lit up

Not 1/3200 scale, a D'Deridex is 1041 meters long at 1/3200 scale this model would be 12.8 inches long

I will start with the good with the model . It has a lot of surface detail and very few parts and can be built in a few hours. My biggest issues, number one the size . The model is a small size model but this should have been at bigger. I don't know why this model does not come in 22-24 inch release instead of a 12 inch. As this is one of the biggest ships in star trek this should have been a 1/1600 scale not a 1/3200 model. There are way to many gaps when full glued. For a small model way to much sanding and pudding is required to hid the separation lines when assembled . This is clearly the warbird from the 1988 three alien ship kit, as the clear pieces from the ferangi marauder appear in this kit. AMT was lazy and did not even bother removing them. The decals for this model is mostly windows. Some were way to small to put on a small model to began with. I felt the windows could have easily been molded on like the eaglemoss xl and standard model of this exact model are. Also those model are a lot smaller than this one. Over all , I did not have many issues when building I just think Amt needs to rework the model make a 1600 scale version and stop reusing the mold from old kits that still have issues.
