I bought this case to go with my Garmin 1450LMT which has a 5 inch screen.Pros:1. Perfect fit for a 5 inch screen gps2. Slim case design which allows you to pack it in a purse, totebag, backpack, etc.3. I have other cases made out of a similar material to be very durable.4. My wife loved the fact it came with a wrist strap.Cons:1. I would like to see a reinforcement panel to improve the level of protecton. The case currently offers a moderate amount of protection. Although if the gps is being packed with other items, it would be nice to have reinforcement on the screen side. I kept some of the packing material and trimmed it down to fit the screen for a addtional layer of protection.

This isn't a bad product, but I think the price is a bit high for what you get.I purchased this to store my Garmin nuvi2460LMT and it fits like a glove. There is a zippered pocket on the outside and I was able to get the 5" USB cable that came with the nuvi to fit in that pocket. As for protecting the nuvi, it's a soft-shell case, so it's not going to protect it from any major impact. But, I think it's better than just throwing the naked nuvi in my console or purse where it could get scratched.Next time, I'll probably purchase a hard-shell case with a little more room to store the nuvi components.

Love it. Soft and easy to keep in a purse, etc. The second one I've purchased, although the zipper jammed on the first one. So, prob a good idea to be cautious. I was very disappointed with the first one that only lasted less than a year. I glued the zipper for a quick repair, however still not as it was new.

..at considerably lest cost than Garmin's own cases.This was purchased to protect a Garmin nüvi 1450. The unit fits snugly in the case, protecting it from scratches when you carry the GPS (in a purse or pocket) or remove it from the windshield/dashboard to stash it out of site in your car. Good quality zipper, nice fit and finish. The outer pocket won't hold much, so don't plan on carrying any mounting or charging hardware along.No pictures yet; another household member commandeered the GPS and case for a long weekend road trip.

Great protection for the 1490! Keep the styro stuffing to protect the screen. Side pocket has room for USB cable, screen wipes, micro-chip and reader and a business card (with return reward)if misplaced. Excellent product, Amazon.

I just received this "roocase" today; it was purchased to house a replacement Garmin Nuvi GPS I purchased earlier in the week (I replaced my old 660 with the 1490LMT). It is exactly what I was looking for; it fits the unit snugly like a glove, with enough "give" to hold my Blackberry as well as the Nuvi. There's a small zippered pocket which is just large enough to hold a USB cord and a cleaning cloth.(I leave my beanbag dashboard mount and charging cord in the car, so I haven't any need for a larger case.) The black stretch fabric with contracting grey trim and perfectly aligned grey stitching is attractive. This is just the right size to tuck into my purse or hide in my console. All in all; it's a well-made case at a satisfactory price that suits my needs just fine.

We replaced a hardside case that I thought was too wide and left too much open space inside the case. We bought this sleeve instead and it works perfectly. The fit is tight enough that there's no movement inside the case. The padding protects it when we put the unit in the console. Great product for our needs of protecting the screen and case when the unit is stored anywhere but in the mount.
