Litter Helper

The design and idea is great, but just not realistic unless you have one tiny cat that poops and pees waste the size of grapes. For me, this just was a no go. At first it thought it was a learning curve, but finally I gave up after accidentally touching the waste...several times. The scoop is just too small for my cats. Actually it is the urine clumps that it has the most trouble with. Shipping was quick, and maybe this would work for a one cat family. Especially if you don't mind scooping multiple times a day. Another thing to consider, if you have enclosed boxes it is hard to get leverage to pick up the clumps. The fact that the unit uses doggie waste bags should have been my first clue that it wouldn't be big enough mor my needs.

Works great. Well, as great as cleaning a litter box can get. Too bad it doesn't hold more, but maybe if I cleaned the litter boxes every day it wouldn't be as bad.

Works as described. The only "ick" involved is if you forget that the scooper has just been submerged in dirty litter, and you flip it open from the front end instead of using the tab near the handle to flip it open. But it works really well. A lot less wasted litter.

The scooper head does not sift well enough(it's too small) ... It's a great idea but useless because of the scooper... I went to return it but because I did try it I couldn't bring myself to return something that my cat's poop had touched.

Not large enough for two cats. Great idea if you have a smaller cat, but when you have a lot of litter to scoop it is not economical.

Now that I have 2 kittens and a cat, and 4 litter boxes, I really need this! They create so much poop and I scoop the boxes daily.

I've been using it for a couple of months. It definitely makes the job easier. I always leave a clean bag in place, so once a day I clean the litter, remove the used bag and put a new one.

pro: it picks up those small bits of poop very well.con: that... is about ALL this does. You have to sift it VERY slowly and carefully to avoid filling the tiny bags with litter. tiny scoop means lots of spilling and lost pick ups. Then... if it get's too full the door get's stuck. reaching in to fix said door is a task that is quite gross. I wouldn't recommend it. Only reason to buy this item is as a gag gift for that cat owner who is known to ignore their litter box.
