Best Writing Program
I have used this writing program for years. It is just as applicable today and perhaps even more so. Everyone needs to learn to print legibly and this program if properly followed does the job. It follows the principals of breaking the skills down into manageable steps and provides frequent assessment. I laminate the pages and use water soluble markers so that we can practice as many times as we need to without ripping the page. Let's put more energy into legible printing and leave the cursive for art class.

The Sensible Pencil
This is a great book if you have a 3-4th grader learning to read and write. My kid is a bit older and we got through this book really quick. It was really at too low a level for him.

Great program!
My son's therapist used this with him early on and I'm so glad she did. It's one of the many tools incorporated from age 2 to 5 years old to help him develop great fine motor skills. I regularly hear how nice his handwriting is and I owe it to the wonderful people who poured into him.
