3 Minute TIMERS W/Colored Sand - Toys - 12 Pieces

using them at work sings for 3min handwashing duration timers. They are easily cleaned and cheap enough that they don't walk, and if they do, they are easily replaced.

I use them in my classroom. They are durable. The kids like to choose their colors. They came quickly and work well.

I needed 12 three-minute timers that would work, so I bought 12 of these (colored sand), and 12 of the ones with white sand. 1 of these had sand get stuck, so it was useless. 2 of the ones from THIS set were about 15 seconds too long (and one ran for 3:30!), and another 3 from THIS set were about 15 seconds short. I was using them for a tea, so timing wasn't critical. They are very VERY cheap looking, but they are also very cheap. :-)

I am a teacher and get these to use in my classroom for games and timing turns. I have never actually timed how long it takes to empty because it doesn't really make too much of a difference for what I'm using it for, but it definitely seems shorter than 3 minutes, it seems more like 1 min (which is good for my purposes). I like that they are colorful and small (easy to store). I took a star off because of the timing inaccuracy and a few have broken on me before where the sand spills out into the whole tube, but this was after some probably rough use from a lot of kids. These are a really good deal considering that the large plastic sand timers like they sell at lakeshore are over $10 each.

these came as ordered, all had the same amount of sand (which was colored as pictured!) All times about 3 minutes, none were broken and came in excellent condition! Only thing is I got blue sandtimers instead of the orange which was cool with me because it didn't really matter.Overall really awesome and if I ever needed 12 sand timers again (which I wont because I now have 12) I'd re buy these.

These don't work very well at all. I needed them for a break area for my classroom. However, when you turn them over, the sand gets stuck, and it doesn't actually work as a three-minute timer. The colors are vivid and beautiful, but the product itself is really cheap.

Great price on fun items - don't know about the accuracy of these, but I don't care, they're just fun for games or party gifts.

They all work. I was surprised that they were all more or less random times. You might get one that is three minutes. I wanted two the same, within seconds, did not find them, but quit checking before giving up.
