This is a great beginner microscope. It's solid, but still easy to use. The phone mount makes it easy to see what's under it and it's adjustable, so it doesn't matter where the camera is on your phone, you can position it to get a good view. It plugs in, so no wasting batteries. The stand, light and lenses are all easily manipulated to get the clearest picture of what is on your slides. Overall, it's really awesome and easy to use!

Ok for home schooling or hobby bur in reality, a used medical microscope, can be found on auction sites, will serve a home student better. Kind of a toy .

The media could not be loaded. It stopped working the day I received it in the mail.Connection is not good. Need a new one .The video shows what we struggling with.Hope the maker of microscope will make it right.I will let you all know what the verdict is.
