EverSonic 30pin Dock Connector to VGA Cable Adapter Video Converter for iPad iPhone iPod touch-white

I understand economics. You buy cheap, you receive cheap. This product does not work anymore after a few months later. I contacted Apple at 1 (800) 676-2775 and they warned me about buying their products-like on Amazon because many products sold here at fake. I would recommend that anytime you want to buy a product related to Apple, get through Apple because otherwise you will not get your money back from here after you passed the purchase policy date.

Hook up was very easy but when I tried to hook up my ipad to my projector the sound didn't go through. The video was good and everything but the sound was a no go/:

Don't buy this if your iPad works on iOS 8.0. The software does not allow you to use it. Mine worked fine until I did the software update. Plenty of complaints about this and other non-apple doc connectors on the apple website. I am now buying the genuine apple connector; it's the only one that will work.

I ordered this so I could display a noise app on projector from my ipad. The app has been a big hit with the students.

Didn't work with iPod Touch 4th gen or 5th gen.
