I purchased the Faux Badger Black synthetic brush and love it!! No smell (I hate badger stink) -- and wayyy softer on the face. The real badger brushes always irritate my skin.

not worth it, too stiff. stick with the real Badger, the smell will go away after a few lathers

My husband is using this brush and likes it very well! He enjoys a good lather from a quality brush and a bar of shave soap. I received one of these to review and it is working out great for him. His skin is sensitive, but his facial hair is tough. Poor quality brushes tend to not be soft enough, lose bristles and fall apart easily.The Simply Beautiful brush has worked.... beautifully! He said the first time he used it it was a little stiff, but after that it was quite comfortable to use. There was no offensive odor at all a I have seen others mention.It lathers his soap nicely and feels smooth on his face. It is standing up great where others have failed when confronted with his stiff, rough facial hair.We have found the Simply Beautiful Shave Brush is good quality for a good price.

The fallout was a bit much and it did have a funky smell. I did not end up using it because once I went to wash it, I couldn't get over the smell!I received this in exchange for an honest review. Clearly, I had an issue with this brush as others did so I cannot in good faith recommend purchasing.

I love this shaving brush! it feels great on your skin and holds the lather extremely well.It has very good ergonomics and is just the right weight. It's also crafted very well and looks beautiful.

It works OK but there is just no substitute for a true Badger Silvertip brush. Cost can be prohibitive though.
