Well, I have to say that being a Harry Potter fan, I was extra excited because I thought this was a special magical wand that could fix my flat hair. Well first I was disappointed that it wasn’t an actual wand because I was really excited to work my spell. Oh well.The box it was packaged in arrived and the texturizer looked like a hair straightener with shark teeth. If you are over 40, we called this little thing a crimper” back in the day.I have extremely flat, boring hair. I had little hopes when I realized it wasn’t an actual magic wand, but I plugged it in any and was going to wait for it to heat up, but was interrupted for about a minute by my teenager boys fighting over who’s turn it was to use the bathroom. By the time I straightened that out (in about 1 minute) the iron was already to use.I sectioned my hair using clips and started. It was so simple and took hardly any time. I really didn’t even have to focus on what I was doing, so the whole time I focused my thoughts on how I was so sad the straightener wasn’t a magic wand, but y’all! After I saw my hair, and how beautiful and full it looked, I realized IT IS A MAGIC WAND AFTER ALL! It’s so awesome, it’s worthy of a name: Tony Stark. (Iron Man... get it? No? Ok, moving along.Then all of a sudden, my bathroom door slammed open with the oldest crying that if we don’t leave now we are going to be late for school. But I had only texturized the underneath section 😩. So I flipped my head and shook it out and Ladies! (Or men...we don’t discriminate here) my hair looked awesome even half done.Then it was test time. I teach 5th grade, and it passes the test! All my co workers noticed, and the kids didn’t laugh at it, at least not in front of me so I’m good. I can’t wait until tomorrow so I can actually do the whole thing.Pros:Easy to useQuick to heat upLeaves hair thicker and texturized for a couple days.Cons:This isn’t a magic wand. I tried to point it at my 11 year old son and chanted some words to make his hair come clean (cause for some reason that kid has a beef with soap), and nothing happened. In fact, he mumbled something about ME being crazy. Take a bath how about that.Overall, perfect product. Highly recommend it.

So disappointed. I got a previously used crimper with gross fingerprints all over it and there’s even hair in the package. Returning for a replacement; I am hoping to get a NEW, unused one!UPDATE: I returned to receive a replacement. I literally got another USED crimper that was even more poorly packaged, had random hair, and a packet of Splenda in it. The cord was just thrown in there and the wand itself was also dirty and covered with fingerprints. Returning for my money back this time. I really thought that purchasing a more expensive item from the brand of a known hairstylist that I would not have had any issues, but I was totally wrong. I would try it to see if it works, but I am not going to go through the trouble of cleaning it, because it’s definitely been used. Pics of the second crimper are those on my counter top.

I’ve bought a few crimpers prior to this, but this one doesn’t have the deepness of the other crimpers to really give your hair lift. The different levels to control the heat is nice but just doesn’t work as good as the others

This was a gift for my daughter with long hair and she loves it. It gives her just enough body for her fine hair.

Love using this tool. Adds volume. Better than whatever I’ve used before. Very quick when it comes to heating and quick to “curl” the hair. Only to it on my roots for volume.

The iron works well but I thought the box would include an adapter for European sockets. I was also expecting to find a protective part for the heat as it is usually included in packs of hair straighteners of expensive brands. When I finish using the iron I never know where to put it to let it cool down. I do not have a hairdresser's salon, I use it for myself. As I said the iron itself works well and I'm quite satisfied even if I believe it's a bit too expensive.
