Broke
Locking mechanism broke with maybe three uses. Batting a thousand with cheap items here.

Great value for 10 bucks!
I usually would go to my local hardware store to pick up something like this, but once an Amazon recommendation came up I figured I'd give it a shot. Great reviews, cheap price, why not? Glad I did. Proves to me that off-brand gardening tools like this make sense buying on Amazon.Pros:- Lightweight- Comfortable to hold- Easy action opening & closing for repetitive pruning (great spring)- The sliding lock holds tight and is easy to use- Sharp!My old crusty ones that are probably 20 years old at this point are stiff, hard to open and close, and basically useless. These rock!

Works In My Flower Garden
I purchased the Pruning Shears, 8 inch Professional Hand Pruners Garden Clippers with SK-5 Sharp Steel Blade,Sharp Anvil Pruner with Safety Lock, Less Effort to work in my flower garden this year to help shape my rose bushes. These are lightweight and do a great job clipping the straggling limbs. Love the locking feature for the blades. Perfect for any type of light pruning.

Not sharp
Not sharp! I bought these based on others reviews...but honestly, they hardly cut the smallest of plant leaves. I am very disappointed.

Not a fan!
Disappointed in this item......seems to cut only when it wants to. Have a harder time cutting thin items. Works a little better on the slightly thicker branches. Also the lock to open and close is difficult to maneuver. I'll keep searching for a better clipper, as I am constantly using and need something more reliable.

I like these. Not bad for the price.
Not "REALLY" well made, but for this price, very good. They cut up to about 1/2" and are fairly sharp. I prefer a scissors cut, but these are also useful. I'm not sure they will last more than a few seasons, but again, for the price that's not a big deal.

Price is cheap and sharp.
This pruner is sharp and much cheaper in the store. I saved few bucks and arrived next day. Its worth for prime member.

Disappointing
I bought these partly on the strength of positive reviews, and they sorely failed to live up to my modest expectations. These shears are made of very cheap materials, but on a positive note, the blades are so dull there’s no chance that you’ll cut yourself.
