Aigoss SAT NAV, 5 Inch GPS Navigation for Car Truck with Pre-Installed 2020 UK, Ireland and Full Europe Maps + Free Lifetime Map Updates

I bought this product to replace my navigon easy 20. Sat nav which only had a small screen so was very eager to use the 5inch screen offered, I was very impressed by the screen quality and amount of things this sat nav can do,this has so many maps fantastic and the volume is good used this for a few weeks now and think this is value for money great

Based on all the 5 star reviews I bought this to use for a one-off road trip to Italy. It was cheaper than updating the maps on my 8 year old TomTom. But it just doesn’t work properly (that also includes in the UK where I tried it out).I think the 5 star reviews on here must be largely fakes because I can’t imagine why anyone would rate this five stars. It thought I was moving at 20mph when I was perfectly still! It did not load maps properly and sometimes not at all, and it’s got a very slow and clunky interface - e.g. you have to click through every country every time to get the one you want and it doesn’t ever remember (so always defaults to Albania). It can’t take post codes and you have to type in the full address each time.It also has loads of gimmicks like games and clutter on the menu which most people with smart phones just aren’t gonna use these days.So I’ve returned this, I’m off to Italy in 2 days and I’ll be running out to buy a TomTom or just use Google maps on my phone, or even an old fashioned road map! :’)

I bought this product to use on a recent trip to Canada. The fact that lifetime worldwide map updates are available swayed the purchase. Upon contacting Aigoss a link to the maps was quickly provided along with instructions on how to upload to the Sat Nav. I found the product generally works well. It did appear to get a little confused on multi-lane motorways when it advised to leave the motorway when it was obvious to stay on. I always had confidence that it would get me to my destination although not always by the most efficient route. This may be down to me still learning about programming the various options that the system has available. All in all a good piece of kit that does all that more expensive sat nav's can do.

Great sat nav for the price. Used for a week's holiday in Cornwall on a daily basis and got us everywhere quickly and accurately. It even went easier and quicker routes than another member of our parties sat nav, avoiding all the narrow lanes!

I was very unhappy with the poor quality of this product and I have now returned it. Reminds me of a cheap sat nav for sale in a market abroad somewhere. The navigation is bad too, tells me to do a u-turn at a set of traffic lights on a dual carriageway. No idea where all the fantastic reviews came from. Not going to trust the reviews on here so much anymore

This ws the second one I purchased on behalf of a friend. She is not on Amazon Prime, and needed one urgently in order to leave London for home. The first purchase was faulty, with the screen causing problems by freezing. The seller of this sat nav was helpful when contacted, but the problem persisted. I then purchased another for her to use when returning home from Wales. This one seemed to work. As the seller didn't want the faulty one returned, it did take some time, but I managed to get my refund. I would say a 3 star review is reasonable.

This gives you the option to alter or change your route if you need to due to traffic jams. It gave me several choices to a destination rather like a Tom Tom. This was about half the price of a premium model. Would recommend.DT.

This Sat Nav looks a little bit sturdy but when it comes to usability, it's a pain. From outside it looks like a really good device, if you take a look at the "logo"'s font you start to get a little bit worried. Once you press the power button, your worries will get bigger and bigger as you land on that iOS 3 or 4 like menu. And then you decide to tap on to see how the navigation is, oops I need to tap a bit harder here you go. Here is our GPS system is loading some stuff in the bottom of the screen and voila done. Where do you want to go? you start typing, no help, no worries and then boom. Windows like errors with 0x49348395 or something similar start to pop up, one after another and without an end you can't do anything. a hard shutdown resolved it (or so I thought). restarted it gone through the same process again and got to see the slowest sat nav system I've ever seen, 2d and 3d navigation is so bad, GPS signal detection is so poor when it was a clear sky and in an area with an excellent GPS signal . so I decided to send this treasure back and not waster my time anymore than I already did. Don't buy this thing.
