Works fine if properly placed. No risk trying it as the customer service is excellent.
I have been struggling with forearm pains since I have started doing pull-ups. It feels like a golfer elbow syndrome. So I went on searching for anything susceptible to help apart from taking pain killers. Some people advised me to use patches, heat patches or patches with menthol or other medicine but it did not really help.I am now currently testing the Simien Tennis Elbow brace and a copper sleeve to see if they can help. Here is what I now think of the Simien Tennis Elbow brace:What I like:- It works. You need to place the cushioned pad exactly where you feel the pain and it reduces the pain a lot and make the pull-ups feasible.- It is very well build. The Velcro are holding very well and do not seem to attract any lint or dust.- It is one size fits all because you can adjust it with the provided straps.- Excellent customer support. The owner will contact every buyer individually to send him the link (pdf file) on how to use the product but will also reply very quickly to any question/complaint. He even offered me a refund that I declined in view of a few of my comments. What I like much less:- It is not cheap. Granted that there are two provided and even a bonus wrist band for the sweat but the end result is still about twice the price of most competitors. When contacted, the company replied to this criticism that there was 100% refund in case of no satisfaction. I do believe them.- The French explanations in the back of the box are gibberish. Again, the owner apologized for the mistake from their part and told me that the French comment is going to be removed from the next batch. The decision was made before my criticism.- Because of its size and conception, one can only address either the Tennis or the Golfer Elbow pains. I tried to attach the two pads together but then it becomes too large for my forearm. If you are suffering from both pains in the same time, this may not work for you. On the other hand, it is rarely that the pain is suffered in the same time so you may be able to move the brace for different type of efforts.- Somehow bulky, it is a bit hard to wear under your sleeves and it may shift when you take your top off or put it on.In conclusion,I started with a doubt about the efficiency of the system and decided to try the copper sleeve instead. I find that both are somehow complementary. The brace, if correctly placed works in relieving the pain instantaneously during the workout but is not convenient to wear on every day basis. The sleeve helps recovering from the workouts but does not alleviate the pain as efficiently as the brace does. In the same time, you can wear it all the time.So you should go ahead and purchase the Elbow braces. If it does not work for you, you can be sure that you will be refunded.

Rule #1 - Don't Rush Through Security
***UPDATED REVIEW***Shortly after I wrote this review, maybe a day or two, the co-owner of the company, Howie King, sent me an email letting me know he read about me losing a brace while going through security and was sending me a replacement. You know what I said? SHUT THE FRONT DOOR! Are you serious? This guy didn't have to do that-he could have glanced at my review and sent me information on how to pay for a replacement, but he didn't. Talk about outstanding customer service! Never in a million years would I have expected that to happen, but when I came home from a business trip and saw my replacement, I really appreciated Mr. King's kind gesture. Thank you Simien Sports!I bought this product for 2 reasons (1) after over zealously training for pull ups I began to feel pain on the top of my forearm and (2) pulling a suitcase everyday didn't help the feeling in my forearm. Someone recommended I try a brace, so I purchased this product because I could keep one brace in my gym bag and one in my travel bag. When I worked out with the brace on, the pain in my forearm wasn't as bad as before. I was able to power through my whole workout without having to regress weight or quit working my right arm altogether due to pain. I also didn't have the same pain pulling my suitcase all over airports, hotels and parking lots. I am so glad I found something to maintain my strength training; I was worried I'd have to lay off the weightlifting, but the compression I get from the brace is just perfect.Sadly, I have to report I lost one of the braces when I went through security at an airport 2 days ago. I was wearing the brace just as I was about the walk though the WTMD and I was told I'd have to take the brace off. I was surprised but said ok, took it off, and quickly put it in what I thought was my bin. After I walked through the WTMD, I got distracted by one of the screeners who needed to open my bag. Once that was over, I got my stuff together and headed to my gate. I realized when I got there I didn't have my brace anymore, and it was too long a walk back to security (plus, not enough time before boarding commenced). I was genuinely sad since I have been wearing that brace religiously when I pull my suitcase around. It genuinely helped my forearm not be as uncomfortable or tender. I wish there was a way to buy only one brace...I'll have to look into whether or not that's possible. I really recommend this brace because it's a good product, but also because the company has reached out to me to ensure I've been happy with my purchase. Before this weekend, I was happy, even thrilled to find a way to ease the pain in my forearm, but now that one of my braces is gone, I am brokenhearted. :-(

Great for pickle ball elbow.
The only problem was the box it came in was badly damaged. It had to have been put in the shipping envelope that way as the shipping envelope was not damaged. I just do not have a box to put the braces back into when I am done using them.
