It is very good quality
First, I have to say the quality of this product is great. The features on it are wonderful. I love all the exterior pockets and the internal net pockets on the sides. It is the easiest bag I have ever had as far as packing and fastening it to the bike was a piece of cake with the enclosed hardware that is kind of a first for me. Initially when you pull it out of the box it looks like it’s a very big bag and it is however, once you get it on the bike and you’ve packed around it and you lean back against it is a backrest it works wonderful. Is it a big bag? Yes it is but that’s what you want. It fits so much I had two pairs of boots Enough clothes to probably last a week. All of the exterior pouches and tiedowns for the tactical side of this make it wonderful. You don’t have any problem, fastening it to other luggage or putting a few little nice extras on it for yourself. I have other settlement bags that are the tactical style and it matches great I would highly recommend this and easily give it five stars, I have already made two trips with it and it’s just great. I will note if you put it on a Can-Am Spyder, you cannot have the back rust on the spider. You will have to remove it. But on the good side once I mounted it on the rear seat, it was a perfect backrest for me .

Great bag
First the bad: The picture for this item is for the Saddlemen S3500 Tactical, which includes the molle attachments on the front. The bag I was shipped was the S3500 Deluxe, a similar but different style. I have sent an email to the seller, but I will probably just keep the Deluxe bag.The Deluxe could use some additional D-rings on the front edge, to help hold it down. The bag only has attachment points on the rear, allowing it to bounce around a little. Now the good: The Deluxe is a great bag. It can hold a tremendous amount of gear, and is very well made. I expect it will last for many years of use. I love the adjustable shelf, and that access to the main compartment is easy from either side. It is a snug fit, but can hold two 3/4 helmets. The removable roll bag gives you even more storage space when needed. It comes with a removable shoulder strap for the roll bag, and backpack straps for the main bag. It also comes with a rain cover, which stores in it's own pocket for easy access. All in all, it's a very well made bag that looks great on my bike.

Impressive
Order this bag and was very impressed it can hold at least a weeks worth of clothes… mounts very easily to the sissy bar and is very secure and it really rides well didn’t move at all through out the trip… the only con I could say is the carrying handle if you have to carry it a long way the way the handle is attached it pinches your hand otherwise we’ll worth the money!!!!

Excellent
I am a college student and my virago has a very small sissy bar and rack. This conveniently fits the small sissy bar and can rest on my passenger seat. The backpack strap additions make this highly convenient to carry around. It sits secure just placing it on. It takes about 1-2 minutes to use the easily attachable extra securing straps.

Be Careful of the Sides
There needs to be netting to keep items from falling out of the zippers fail. I ride around Alaska and spent 2 days in none stop rain in Valdez. I put the rain cover on and it lasted about 20 miles before it had a hole in it. Also if you had a thinker passenger back rest it barely fits over the bag, even if you keep the side pockets empty.

Very Very good, could be slightly better.
I bought this bag at a motorcycle show a few weeks ago. I have long looked for a backrest bag that I could carry my camera bag in and have it be secure, and this bag fits that use case perfectly. The camera bag fits very nicely, with a little extra room at the top. It's a high-quality, well built bag. Capacity is good. It comes with attachment straps, but those could be better. They're way too long for my use - I strap the bag to the fender rack on my bike, and the loops that are on the bag are too close to the rach .. due to the way they're made, the straps are almost too long and come close to preventing me tightening the straps to the bike, especially at the front.I know they can be better, because I have another bag, the "Nelson-Rigg Route 1 Destination" bag, that has tie-down straps attached directly to the bag. Above the attachment points, there's a strip of elastic where you can stow any extra strap length, which helps while on the bike, and when off the bike, to prevent tripping over the long straps hanging down. If the Saddlemen bag had similar straps built into the bag, they'd be much easier to use, and the mounting system would get 5 stars from me.That's a small concern; once you've got the bag strapped down, you're good to go. It's a pretty great bag!
