The Yuppy Puppy Treat Machine Dog "Gumball" Machine

Can't seem to get my dog to work this toy maybe she to small I have a yorkie

My dogs just simply love this vending machine toy, but I supervise the usage because I don't want them to get fat, eating whenever they like. I love that it is well made and durable and very hard, not soft or wobbly made at all. This is very critical for me because my dogs are rough users and toy destroyers. I love the interaction when I am training them how to use the vending machine toy. Wonderful to watch them learn.

The machine itself is great. Our dogs love them. The top "spider ring" is a very flimsy plastic and breaks easily. Most of the parts are inexpensive to replace, but the shipping is UPS and for a $2 part the shipping is $12.99!! That is outrageous.

It works OK but is very small for a larger dog.. My GermanShep. tends to knock it over because it is small for him to really enjoy. I tried to return it & it was not accepted and was sent back to me. I don't know if they are still in business?

It's cute but too pricey!!!

Now if only I can teach him to use it!

My dobermans love Yuppy Puppy. The enclosed pamphlet says it can take up to two weeks for your dog to learn how to work it, but that is probably an exaggeration as food is a great motivator. One of my dogs learned how to use it in under five minutes, using her paw, the other took about a day and prefers to use her snout to depress the lever. I tried to teach her with her paw but she learned her own way to do it. It is cute to watch them and is much anticipated when I say "Work the Machine!" Product is built sturdy for heavy use by mongrels and stays in place well. Doesn't tip over. Highly recommended.

My mom had one of these for years and I don't know if it got lost or put away or what but I really really wish they would have a new one that I could purchase because I would love to teach my dogs how to use it and stuff! Please please please come back with it!!!!
