The 'Good Stuff'
If your stucco walls develop stress cracks, this is the best product I've used to seal and flex with stress cracks. Sets up in about two hours and blends in.

Works great for patching that doesn't need to be super pretty.
I know some folks have given this a bad review because they say it can't be sanded. Even the vendor states that this is not sandable. I read a review where one person said it sanded easily. Likely a fake review as this stuff does not sand.I use this to patch holes in areas that I don't need a super clean look such as in the garage. Recently the lower part of a panel in my garage that goes into my crawl space got damaged. It was about a six inch wide, one inch high hole. That is a fairly large hole. This is pretty thick and I first tried to fill the hole with a Bondo spreader with just this product and after a couple minutes it would start to sag, exposing the hole again. I quickly grabbed some fiberglass mesh drywall tape put it over the hole with the ElastoPatch still sagging, then used my Bondo spreader again moving the ElastoPatch back over the hole now covered with the fiberglass mesh tape and it held firmly. After letting it completely dry it looks great. As long as you spread this stuff and leave it still it does dry to a nice clean smooth surface. Some have claimed that it shrinks, but I have never had that problem. Just be sure you use it over a clean surface as it won't stick to dirty, oily surfaces.

Easy to use and applies well
The first container I received had not been packed properly, so it was all over the box and I opened it. I sent it back got a full refund and ordered it again. The next container came in perfect condition. This is a very good product. It applies easily to wall surfaces and it’s great for fixing holes and nicks and plaster walls. I highly recommend it.

Recurring Ceiling Cracks
Live in FL home that had some sink hole remediation but still can shift causing cracks. My ceilings were poorly and incorrectly seamed, therefore contributing to sagging tape etc. I needed an alternative to hard drying, traditional drywall mud, so applying this was a no brainer. It does have a somewhat rubbery exterior which is exactly what I needed, flexibility to move w/settling. I will need to see long term effects, but so far I'm pretty optimistic. Very easy to spread, but doubtful you can sand, but easily accepts paint. I have a stucco pattern on ceiling therefore no sanding necessary. I did notice some shrinkage!!! You do have to apply in layers of like 1/8" - 1/4" at a time as deeper fillings don't seem to dry as well. Going over some fresh tape usually will take two layers of applications, do first one thinner, w/topper thicker. Stuffs fairly expensive but in my circumstance for recurring cracks, I'll pay anything not to keep caulking etc.

Didn't help in my particular situation
If you have a crack that is caused by a "breathing" or unstable wall, then this solution will not work in terms of making your crack disappear. It might be useful for foundations/drywall that is stable. Furthermore, the fact that this is not sand-able means that the finished product will more than likely look terrible unless you are trying to use it as caulk to cover tiny cracks. Product also shrinks. I think this product resembles silicone sealant more than it does spackle or joint compound. It might be good for outdoor applications or are a sealant solution though.I tried using this on a crack on a breathing wall, and then putting joint compound along with tape, and the crack line appeared over what I tried. Yes, it does seal the crack, but you can still see it.

I love this stuff! Useful indoors and out. Paintable
I’ve used this product with a drywall trowel to smooth out chipped doors or recently used it to smooth over a back door that was warping a bit at the bottom. When painted the rubbery feel goes away. Super outdoor caulk as it’s flexible and will expand and contract. I guess I use it most as an outdoor spackling company and filler. Fill screw holes where you need an all weather fill. Great stuff for maintaining your home. There’s probably endless ways to use this product. Spreads easy smooths well with a trowel. Dries fairly quickly. Paintable.
